The Omega of the Comander and Whanheda

Cheater 1.

Hearing knocking my eyes slowly open . The noise continues until I spoke.

"I'm coming, I'm coming, give me a minute!" I said with a loud volume so the person outside my door can hear me.

I quickly take my shirt from the chair and put it on, followed by a pair of pants. Walking toward the doors I press the button to open them, the moment the doors open I see my mentor and boss, Dr Abby Griffin or now known mostly as Chancellor Griffin. I look at the alpha and smile.

"Hi Dr Griffin, how can I help you?" I say with a small smile.

The alpha returns the smile and pulls me into a hug. I get surprised by the sudden affection, hesitate for a moment, but welcome it, by slowly wrapping my arms around her.

"I thought something happened to you!" Abbey said

I pulled away and looked at her, confusion written all over my face

"What do you mean?" I asked with complete confusion and also adoration, with the fact she cares.

"Your lab...there was a fire and I thought you were there, because you're normally in the lap at 8 am,it's now 10am," she said with a motherly voice.

For a moment I froze, it's 10 am? Wow, I've overslept. Like a lot...

"I worked till 5 am this morning on a project, so I must've overslept." I said hesitantly, knowing the alpha had told me a million times not to overwork.

The moment she heard me, she scoffed.

"I've told you not to overwork and no work after 10pm!" she said sounding like a mother scolding her child.

I exhaled and looked at the ground, sad that she was disappointed in me.

"I'm sorry" I said still looking at the ground.

She lifted my chin, making me look up into her eyes.

"I know you don't like the fact you're an Omega and that you don't want an alpha or anyone. But one day you'll meet your mate and they'll love you and cherish you. You can't run forever from your Omega side" Abbey said with a soft voice while looking me in the eyes

I pouted and kept looking at her.

"But they'll want to control me, I don't want to be controlled" I said in a sad but stubborn voice.

"They'll protect you, and if the way to protect you is by controlling you then you should probably accept it. But I have a feeling your mate or mates would have a hard time with you" she said shaking her head, but giving me a little smile, while letting go of my chin, allowing me to look away from her

"Go get ready the Commander will be here with Clarke and they'll need your assistance" she said

I gulped, the Commander? Clarke aka Wanheda, aka Abbey's daughter? Oh dear, they're like the strongest alphas alive. I might be able to mask my emotions most of the time, but now I'm totally terrified. Even though I'm really good at masking, Abbey was able to sense my distress.

"It's okay Leah, from what I know the Commander and their people are kind to Omegas and if something happened Clarke wouldn't let anything happen to you, she's my daughter after all" Abbey spoke slowly and reassuringly.

"I- um... Okay" I said, still unsure but trusting the woman.

Even though I've never met Clarke I've heard great things about her from Abbey, but I gotta be honest I'm quite intimidated. She's an Alpha after all, and I don't trust alphas except for Abbey. She's kind of a mother figure for me.

It's kinda weird I've never met Clarke, considering I'm pretty close to her mother.

The Alpha nodded at me and left, giving me space to get ready.
