Clarke's POV

"Klork" I heard Lexa say from behind me.

"Yes, my love?" I answer with a sweet smile

"Do you think we'll find our third mate anytime soon?" Lexa asked with a sad expression on her gorgeous face

I understand how she feels, but having our third mate with us is hard like a piece of us is missing.

"I hope we will" I say shortly while pulling her in for a hug.

"Lexa, today we're meeting an expert who can help us with the illness spring through Polis, she's an expert in bio-engineering and is a doctor like my mum." I told her

She hummed

"But Lexa... There's something else" I said hesitantly

"What is it, Klork?" Lexa asked with curiosity and a little worry in her voice

"Well she's an Omega, and I asked to be delicate. And to be patient. She said the Omega is very stubborn and doesn't like taking orders from anyone" I said softly

Both me and Lexa think an Omega should be taken care of and not be made to work, they're too vulnerable, and some alphas And bets will abuse the fact they're vulnerable, they need to be protected.

"Well you know my opinion about the subject, but don't worry I won't do anything too much unless she specifically disrespects me or you. Then she will have to face the consequences and not as much of disrespecting an alpha more of because I'm Heda and you're Wanheda" she said with determination

" Okay, sounds fair" I said with a smile

Leah's POV

After getting ready I headed towards where I was supposed to go and meet the Commander and Clarke.

Taking my stress ball with me to calm my nerves, and hope neither of them sees it, people tend to make fun of me when they see it.

Arriving at my destination I smell a strong smell of burning wood and a candle, then another, apples and cinema.

Ignoring the delicious smell I press the bottom to come into the room. When the doors slide I'm met with two alphas. The moment they lay eyes on me they both growl possessively, their eyes darken and both start coming closer.

Unknown to me I had stepped into the room and suddenly the doors closed thanks to Clarke who held a tablet in her hands.

I whimper and cower closer to the door, trying to get away from the scary alphas.

"Mate" is all Clarke says

That's when it all makes sense, the strong smell, why I feel a pull, why they're acting that way, they're my mates...
