Wow! I totally procrastinated this, but here it is! Turn your brightness up to see it better, I have a terrible camera.
I had a tough time figuring out how to draw the dragon heads. I've recently changed how I do them but haven't drawn any wof dragons in a while. I'm just gonna say it, Glorybringer is one of favorite ships even though its incredibly cheesy and inaccurate, I love the characters!
I had a lot of fun drawing Queen Glory. I was gonna go with an annoyed expression, cuz Glory's in such denial about their relationship hehe, but I then changed it to flattered cuz i decied to give Deathbringer a flower and it matched better.
I made glory green instead of teal...im color dumb. I can SEE colors correctly, but my brain randomly says they're different colors, especially teal. While looking up ref pictures, I was struck by thought lightning, "OMG! GLORY'S TEAL? I THOUGHT SHE WAS GREEN!"
but then I colored over it teal so its fine I guess.
As for Deathbringer, I think I captured him pretty well. I love the way his neck is curving, that was a hard position to figure out. I did all his scale patterns...only to cover them up in black. *sigh* a black shadowy blod is literally the description of a night wing. On the bright side, my camera brought out his star scales on his wings!
Me and my bestie have an inside joke about Deathbringer. One day we were scrolling though Pinterest in study hall, when we suddenly scrolled upon a drawing of Deathbringer in sunglasses from the "Everybody Likes Me" animatic by Cyprus. If you know, you know. We both started squealing, "oh my god, its Deathbringer! He's co cute!" Yeah, we got multiple weird stares from across the room. >:) When I showed her the drawing, we did it again and got more weird stares.
