We all sigh and gasp as we enter the other side.

"This is some hard-core Alice in Wonderland shit." Ben said looking around.

"Yeah." I say. "I really do hate being back here."

Dad finally comes in and shuts the door behind him.

"At last, the other side." He said out of breath.

"Where's Klaus?" Viktor asked. "Yeah, he was right behind me."

"Children, I'm sorry but, your brother... I did all I could, bit he didn't make it in time." He said. "The Kugelblitz has claimed its last victim."

"You're lying.." I said. "I'm sorry dear but I am truly not."

"He was right behind Y/n and I when we entered the tunnel." Five added.

"We need to go back."

"There is nothing to go back to." The old man said. "Children there will be time for tears later. Right now, we must keep moving." He went on to say. I scoffed in response. I know he's lying.

I felt a tear streaming down my face as father walked by, "Let's go." I say shakingly.

We get to the first floor and exit out of the elevator.

"You guys should've stayed here. This place is way nicer." Ben said.

"Lila, Y/n, and I barely made it out alive last time remember?" Diego said.

"Nasty.." I say.

"Yeah, but I'm here this time, and the numbers are in our favor." Ben said.

"Stop trying to act so tough Ben." I said looking at him with a straight face.

"Alright, so, whatever you do, do not ring this bell." Diego said walking towards it.

"Unless you want to lose a finger." Lila said.

"Or a tentacle." I say looking directly at Ben.

Sloane walked towards the bell. "I'll take my chances." She said. "I want to kill whatever killed Luther." She sobbed.

"Luther isn't the only one that's gone." Viktor said. "We lost Klaus too."

"Five." I said crossing my arms. "Doors won't let you out." Diego said.

"So, what.. We're stuck here?" Allison asked.

"Duh."

"This place is a test and a trap and a means of salvation, all at once." Dad explained.

"Does anyone know what that sign says?" Viktor asks. "Viktor you ask too many questions." I sigh.

"What do we do? Does anybody know?" Five asks. "Reggie?" Allison called out.

"I'm hungry. Does anyone fancy an unagi roll?" Lila ask. "Ooh, me." I say walking with her.

"How can you possibly eat at a time like this?" Ben asked.

"I don't know." Lila said.

"How can you be such a dick at a time like this?" I ask smiling.

"Oh, you'll–" Ben said getting cut off by Diego.

"Back off, all right?" Diego said walking up to him.

"She's eating for-"

"Strength." Lila said. "In these trying times."

"Diego can you come with me for just a second?" Lila says, grabbing onto his arm.

I blow a raspberry at Ben. "Stop acting like a child." He says. "Stop acting like you're such a tough guy." I say in response.

"I'm not." He said tense. "Yeah, you are." I smile.

"Okay, whatever." Ben scoffs. "You're a little brat Ben." I walk up to him and hit the back of his head. He sighs and walks off.

"Wait, did that hurt?" I walked towards him. "I'm sorry" I said, he just kept walking.

"Bruh, there's nowhere to go, where are you going?" I said, practically chasing after him.

He walked up the stairs, and Allison harshly budged Ben. "Dad, Ben's being a bitch." I said, "what was that all about?" Ben asked.

"That's none of your concern." Dad said, not even paying attention to Ben."

"Not my concern? We're here now, in the Hotel Oblivion. Just like you wanted. I made that happen." Ben said. I backed away, and didn't say anything because what was there to say? I can't do anything.

"Don't be ridiculous. Allison killed Harlan, and I united the families." Dad said, he was right.. kinda. What did you do, Number Two?" Dad said and walked away. Damn, now I feel lowkey bad for Ben. Was he always treated this way? As a Sparrow?

"Gather up, Children!" Dad then shouted, going down the stairs. "Now that we've had a chance to catch our breath, the real work can begin." He said, walking towards the middle of the room.

"Come on, Ben." I said and glimpsed back at him, as before, I was looking at Dad. He just stood there. "I said, come on." I grabbed his arm, and dragged him over. "I can walk, thanks." He said, shaking off his hand.

"Okay, wow, not even an 'Oh yeah, sorry about that Y/n. But I can walk fine. Thanks though!' " I said, and hurried down.

Dad explained everything, about the myth of the 'seven bells', "what do we do when we find the key?" Sloane asked, "I don't know." Dad responded.

"Wait what?" I asked. "We're here because you said you had a plan.." Viktor said.

"I do, up to a point." Dad said.

"You gotta be fucking killing me." I mumbled and groaned. I just want all of this to be over already.

"Finding the sigil is our only way out of here and the best chance we have of resetting the universe." Allison explained.

"Funny how you and Dad are on the same page again." Five said, sounding suspicious of Allison.

"Okay, whatever, where do we start?" I asked. "We'll split into groups." Dad said.

"I'll go with Allison, Y/n and Sloane, Ben and Five with Viktor." He explained.

"No, we want Allison." Viktor said, "Ben for Allison." Said Five. "We've trained together, so it makes sense if we take Allison."

"Yeah, no thanks." Allison scoffed. "Why not?" Viktor asked, "splendid idea." Father said, trying to break the tension.

"Allison, you go with the Umbrellas. Sparrows, stick together, plus Y/n." He said.

"Great." I sighed. "Everyone take a different floor. We must find that sigil." Father said.

"Why do I have to be stuck with you." Ben said to me. "It's not my fault Five and Viktor wanted Allison," I said and shrugged.

"Whatever. This is a total waste of time." Ben said as Sloane, he, and I was walking to the elevator.

"I forgot my journal," Dad said, stopping in his place. "Go on. I'll meet you on five."

"That was.. unusual," I said as we were going up the elevator. Ben just hit me on the head. "Here, maybe that helped with your stupid thinking." "Really?" I asked him and slapped him. "Can you guys stop?" Sloane asked. "You guys are like 7-year-old kids."
