Oblivion pt.2

"Oh, don't forget to check under the plants," Ben said. "Get off your ass and start inspecting the walls for hidden compartments," Sloane said. "For real, Ben. Sloane and I have been doing all the work." I said, refixing my hair.

"Okay, uh," Ben said, and carelessly knocked on the wall. "Wow, you're such a big help. Thank you so much for that." I said, opening the doors.

"What the hell is wrong with you? People are dying left and right, and you're acting like a sulky teenager." Sloane said.

"You sound just like dad." He said in response. "Why is it so important for dad to like you?" Sloane asks. "He doesn't define you or us. We made our mark in this world without him." Sloane spoke.

I stayed out of this. I can't get into this. My life is shitty enough, I don't need others to trauma dump on me.

"Five?" I asked. "I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm glad to see you guys." He said, walking towards us.

"Where's Viktor and Ali?" I asked, "doesn't matter," he said in response. "What's wrong?" Sloane asked with a shaky breath. "The hotel is changing." Five said, "I've been walking around in circles but it's like the thing is alive."

"We should get back to the lobby," Ben said looking at us. "Tried it." Five replied.

"Whatever direction I choose, I end up in the same spot."

"Or maybe you have no sense of direction," Ben said. "Okay, lead the way, Magellan."

Ben scoffed and walked past us. "How could you like this dude?" Five asks me quietly. "I like the old Ben," I say. "How about this one, no?" He asks. "It's whatever," I say and keep walking.

All of a sudden, I felt a sudden rumbling, saw a beaming yellow light, and heard a blaring ringing sound. This didn't happen when I came in here the first time...
Or atleast, not this bad.

"Do you guys see all of this too? Or is it just me?" I said covering my ears. "Yeah, but why are you covering your ears?" Sloane asks. "Y/n is sensitive to any type of ringing like that." Five responded.

"Oh.." Ben and Sloane said, "Let's just go," I said, walking forward.

We were walking down the hallway and came across a samurai. "Really, a samurai?" Ben asked. "You've gotta be fucking kidding me," I said in disbelief.

Sloane then yelled, and ran towards it. 'Is she fucking crazy?' I thought to myself.

"Revenge looks good on her," Ben said. "Wouldn't you shut up and help us kill this thing?" Five said, getting a hold of an axe.

"You think they can handle it?" I asked Ben, leaning against a wall. "No, but I'd like to see them try to." Ben chuckled.

"Why are you two just standing there?" Five shouted. "Ugh, fine," I said, getting up from being against the wall.

"Oh, my shit!" I said as the samurai chased us. We ran into the laundry room and hid behind the machines.

"You've hit him with your axe five times
He should be dead by now." Ben said, out of breath. "The armor. It's like hitting cement." Five responded to Ben.

"There's a space between the backplates," Sloane said, shaking. "We need to get behind him then.  I said looking at Five.

"Let's kill this thing." Sloane said, getting up. "Hey, Sloane-" I said, getting cut off.

"Hey, asshole!" Sloane said, running towards him. A blade suddenly cut her arm as she trembled to the ground.

The samurai was about to kill Sloane, but Five spatial jumped behind him, trying to get at him.
