Like always I am in a rush. My boyfriend Zach of 4 years told me to be ready by 6:30 and I just now starting my makeup.
Don't ask me I don't know how this happens.
I hadn't even had an outfit picked out. UGH. I had to take time on my base cause it consisted of a lot of blending. But I sped thru everything else.
I finished my makeup at 6:35 I was getting a text from Zach saying: from my heart❤️ : if you are still putting your lashes on your ass getting left😆.
I rolled my eyes and giggled. He told me dress super fancy cause we are extra. I decided to go with a a sparkly black dress with a slit on the side and some black heels.

I took a few videos and pictures and I finally was walking downstairs at 6:45. Z is gonna kill me.
I open the door to see him standing there with a tired face and holding a bouquet of flowers. "I was about to say if you didn't look this good for taking that long I woulda left yo fine ass."
I give him an apologetic look until he starts checking me out up and down and smirked.
"we don't have to go anywhere we can just have fun here" he says rubbing my sides up and down. I giggled and blushed. "no I spent too much time on this" I spoke
I put the flowers on the coffee table and we head out.
*at the restaurant*
Me and Z were eating beautiful pasta and talking about us and how life is going to be later on. We were on a rooftop and could see the whole of Chicago. It was stunning.
"baby?" Zach spoke. I turned to look at him and he was smiling like a nervous little kid on the first day of school.
"what happened why are you so cheesy." I asked smiling at his dorky self.
"Cause I get to do this." He stood up taking my hand and getting on one knee. I gasped. Tears were already falling before he said anything.
"How I wanted to do this since we met but I didn't wanna scare you off. My love, my soul, my world, the love of my whole existence. The world doesn't deserve your kindness and yet here you are with me and yet I don't know what I did to deserve the type of person you are. I am completely obsessed with you and your personality. You love everyone especially me with your whole heart. I have enjoyed these last 4 plus years with you and I would be so honored you made me the man of your dreams forever. Haven Jasmine Brown will you be my forever and marry me?" I cried and nodded.
He stood up and put the beautiful ring on me and I smiled like a child. We hugged for what felt like hours before we pulled away giving each pecks.
"it's so pretty! So you do listen to me." I said giggling as it was my dream ring. "Of course I do I have been designing this ring for over a year baby, it had to be special for you" he says kissing me on the side of my forehead

We took photos , viewed more of the city I flexed my ring on insta and we went home and had an even more magical night😉😉
