(A/N) Scarlett's wolf ^^^^

SACRLETTS POV

I have been running for a while now. God knows how long, it could have been years. I scavenge through the woods and have not shifted back into my human form. I don't trust myself when I'm like that, I'm more vulnerable.

I'm walking through a meadow looking for some rabbit or deer for dinner. My white fur is all dirty from neglecting to shift and shower somewhere. I have no idea where I am, all I know is that I have to keep to the woods. Rouges have been sort of a problem for me, I know that technically I am one too, but I don't like to think about that.

I see some rustling in a bush, oh good, this might mean a meal today! I started to stalk over to the bush. I was about to attack a poor and helpless little chipmunk when I heard a growl. I whipped my head around to see a small group of rouges, fur all matted down and having an Evil look to their eyes.

Shit.

I stood my ground to the three wolves, which was probably a stupid thing to do. I can't fight off three male rouges when I'm this weak. But I muster up enough confidence to send a menacing growl their way. My wolf was not to be messed with, my dad was the former beta of the Midnight pack before... Well.... Before they all got slaughtered. I was larger than the rouges by a little, and I have more stealth than strength. I know I can't take them on in my weak state, I will certainly die.
'We can take them,' my wolf, Callie told me. I pushed her away so she wouldn't take over and make stupid, rash decisions.

One of the wolves looked surprised and hesitated, he was the leader of the group, I could tell. I took that small fraction of a second and ran away from them. I was getting off track, and pretty soon I would pass into another packs territory. I could die if that happened, but what choice do I have?

I just dodged a fallen log when teeth clamped down on my right leg. I lost my balance and fell to the forest floor with a huff. I guess I'm going to be fighting rather than fleeing.

I kick the musty color wolf off my back and he flies straight into the other wolves behind him. I try to stand on the leg and run, but I'm slower with the injury. I snap when the rouges surround me, and lung for the leader. I bite down on his neck before another rouge leaps on my back, clawing it to shreds. I howl in agony while the leaders lifeless body slips from my grasp.

The two other wolves continue to shred my back with their claws before I roll over, painfully if I might add, and buck them off into a tree. I stood up unsteadily and took off, ignoring the pain. They just looked at me blankly and didn't follow. Why? They could kill me, I'm wounded.

I didn't look back as I ran for a mile or two, but it was clear they were not following me at all. I stopped by a large oak tree and collapsed. My wounds were not healing very fast, and I think that death might be peaceful right about now. They were still bleeding, turning my dirty white fur into Crimson red.

I was so dizzy it was hard to keep my eyes open. Black spots invaded my vision as It completely faded away. I couldn't help it anymore, I blacked out.
