*Four months later*

The last four months have been hectic for me. Four months ago I met a guy named Kevin Anderson. He had moved in to the apartment next door to mine that had been empty for four years. My first impression was that he was going to be one of those men that were nice and gentlemanly. I was wrong. He turned out to be a huge jerk.

Then, one night, we went out to the balcony that was connected to our apartments. That was when he told me he was a famous male model.

We were talking until he suddenly got really close to me. He told me that there was paparazzi below us, and to pretend that we were cuddling. The day after, our faces was plastered on magazines. That was when we started fake "dating".

Then we went out to his brother's, famous teen actor Collin Anderson, birthday party. That was when things started to go downhill. Kevin had brought me over to the bar, and left me there to go hang out with someone else. I was about to leave until his brother and childhood friend, Jason "Jace" Denson introduced themselves to me. They were very entertaining when they were together, which had made me happy. That was until Kevin came over with a girl named Ariel. While she was around, he had pretended that I didn't exist. That made me snap. I had hurried out of the party to go home.

Kevin had ran after me. We got in an argument. He claimed that he didn't know what he did wrong. That was what made all my emotions I held back escape. The feeling of heartbreak had made being around him uncomfortable.

The day after, I went over to his apartment and told him cut the dating façade. Then, two months after our "break up", magazines were filled with pictures of Kevin and Ariel.

Now, I'm out in Los Angeles. I'm doing a photo shoot featuring Collin and Kennedy Star for Teen Magazine. The magazine wanted to do a photo shoot with them together, because rumor has it that these two were going out. They told me that a player settling down with someone will bring big money. So I took the job.

I check my camera to make sure that it is on high definition. Since this is going in a published article, the pictures has to be in its best quality.

The lighting and everything else is already set up for the photo shoot. Now all I have to do is wait for Collin and Kennedy to finish getting their make-up done.

Everyone around the studio is moving all over the place. The director of the magazine is yelling orders to the make-up artists. Telling them to hurry up because we were on a timed schedule. While everyone was being frantic, I was just calmly getting waiting to take the pictures and get out of here. Being nervous wouldn't make the pictures look their best.

My phone then starts vibrating in my back pocket. I reach behind myself and pull it out. Jace's number is on my screen. I can't hold back the smile that spreads across my face.

After the party, Jace and I had stayed in contact. I was surprised when he called me two days later. Ever since then, we would talk when we had time. Listening to his voice, had made me feel relaxed.

When the news of Kevin and I's "break up", Jace has done nothing but be supportive. Other than my family talking to Jace has made me feel more confident in myself. I could almost count him as a brother from another mother.

I hit the answer button and press the phone against my ear.

"Well, hello Ms. Walters. How's the photo shoot going?" Jace says cheerfully.

The smile that was on my face never faltered. Hearing his voice has made my day better than it already was.

"I'm good. You?"
