Dixie's POV:
I am so excited for Halloween, me and mom were dressing up and we're all getting ready to go out trick or treating!

I got dressed in my costume with my mom

Then you both just go trick or treating like mother and daughter :D

About 10 houses, you and your mom Kate were following a trail of halloween lights, till it lead you and a couple people behind you, to a gate

(I think that's their house? 😭😭)

"Woah, this is creepy" I said "oooh! this house looks familiar!! come on honey!!" my mom said dragging my arm "woah woah mom!" I said then we passed the gate and she ran to the stairs "Mommm! omg" I said face palming, I followed after her doing the "😑" face at her "what!!! this is better, I am not buying candy, im way too lazy" my mom said and I playfully rolled my eyes, then I pressed the doorbell and it rang, I backed up a bit, after 2 minutes past no answer. "Hm I guess there's no one home, okay let's gooo" I said about to turn around, till I heard the door slowly open then I rolled my eyes and turned around, before the door opened fully, it revealed a tall curly haired boy that looks to be my age looking both me and my mom

he kinda looked... famillar and cute... "uh- trick or treat-!" I said snapping myself out of my thoughts, then my mom said it after me, and I was holding my bag out for candy, he walked away for a moment, then coming back carrying a bowl that looks to have REAL SPIDERWEBS ON IT, but full of candy then he said "its a nice night huh." he said looking at us, while grabbing a handful of candy, as me and my mom walked a little closer "it indeed is! Hey you look familiar, my dear what's your nam-" my mom was cut off with me elbowing her side, I glared at her then she rolled her eyes playfully then I looked over at the curly haired boy, narrowing an eyebrow at me "Miles." my eyes widen a bit, my mom gasped quietly, then my mom leaned over to me to whisper, in my ear "Miles Fairchild", then my eyes widen and my mouth went wide open thee Miles Fairchild...? then I closed my mouth, while he goes in my mom's bag, dropping the candy inside, then he goes for another handful of candy, dropping it in her bag, then he turned to me going for another handful of candy then he drops the handful in my bag, then he goes for one more handful and it was big, then couple pieces fall out "oh! here" i said, kneeling down to pick them up, then once my hand was placed on the candy pieces I felt a hand on mine.

(like this but the other way around, like the black sleeve on the white)

I looked up to see Miles already looking at me, then we locked eyes and pink clouds started to form around us, then we both stood up, still locking eyes his hand still on mine "when I see you again... Dixie" he said tucking a hair behind my ear, blush started to appear across my face while my eyes are wide "Miles..."
