Lisa's POV

"So, who's the father?"

Taehyung kept on asking me who is aili's father. Like, why do he care? It is none of his business anyway.

He didn't let us go outside his office until i answer his question.

I'm sitting on his sofa while he is standing in front of me with his hands on his side pockets. Aili, on the other hand, is busy playing with her toys.

"Why do you care? It's none of your business." I rolled my eyes in annoyance while he's just looking at me with his serious face.

"Am i not allowed to ask my employees about their life? Besides, you brought her here in my company, how can i not ask about her background?" He explained.

He's really hard headed.

I just knew that nothing will happen if i don't tell him about aili, so i give up.

"Aili's mother is jisoo unnie and his father is jin oppa. She is 4 years old, turning 5 this year." I said boredly.

He looked confused.

"Then, why is she calling you mommy earlier?" He asked while his brows furrowed.

"That's what she wants to call me. I'm just her auntie mr. Kim. Are you now satisfied with my answer?" I almost rolled my eyes again, luckily i didn't.

"Can we go outside now?" I didn't wait him to answer. I stood up and held aili's hand.

"Don't do that next time, okay?" I said, almost a whisper.

She nodded at me then kissed the side of my cheek. We went back to my office right after I took a water bottle in the pantry.

I also locked the door of my office so aili can't leave. If she get into trouble, i'll also be in trouble. It's for our own good.

I continued doing my work while babysitting aili at the same time.

Gosh! It's so tiring!

"Mommy, someone's knocking," aili softly said while shaking my arms. I looked at her for a moment, her doe eyes is really cute, it suits her.

I smiled at her and pinched her cheeks. She pout her lips at me which made me laugh.

I stood up and opened the door, only to find out that it was taehyung.

The hell? What's with this guy again?

He looked at me then smiled a bit. I rolled my eyes and cleared my throat. Maybe he thinks he looks cute, but actually he's not.

"What are you doing here? Don't you have work as well?" I asked and arched a brow.

He licked the bottom of his lips and swallowed a lump on his throat. I saw how his adam's apple move.

Gosh! What am i even saying?

"Nothing, actually. i just ordered something and saw this one. I want to give it to aili." He said. He even brought up the bag he's holding so i can see it.

I slowly nodded and let him in.

He went to aili and bent his knees so they are on the same level.

"Hi, aili! Mr. Kim is really sorry because of his behavior towards aili and ms. Manoban earlier. Look! I have something for you, do you want to look at it?" Taehyung asked softly.

I gotta admit, the gentleness of his voice is calming and very soothing.

Aili smiled at him and took the bag taehyung was holding. She slowly opened it and her eyes immediately glistened the moment she saw what's inside.
