A villain's love for her hero

Suspicion

As Mumei was lost in her thoughts, Kronii asked questions at Calli and Kiara about their relationship.

"How come I didn't know about this?" Kronii asked.

"Cause you never asked" Calli answered and Kronii glared at her.

"Geez dont look at me like that." Calli said and Kronii sighed.

"How and where did you two met?" Asked Kronii.

"Oh well uh..." Calli hesitated and signaled Kronii to come with her.

As both of them stand up, they walked to the kitchen and left Mumei and Kiara alone.

"So what happened was, Kiara is a childhood best friend of mine and we got separated when we were 6 cause we had to move away. Two years ago when we first appeared as the city's vicious villains I saw her as Owl's sidekick and immediately knew it was her, so after the battle I secretly took her and talked with her." Calli stated.

Two years back...

"MPH!!" Kiara struggled to get out of Calli's grasp.

"Shh! I'm only here to talk." Calli said and let go of Kiara.

At that time they still go by the names phoenix and reaper.

"What do you want from me Reaper?" Kiara asked and Calli started to take her mask off.

"I was sure you would know me even without removing my mask, it seems like I was wrong" Calli stated as she fully removed her mask and Kiara was shocked.

"Calli!?" Kiara shouted and Calli immediately covered her mouth.

"Shh!!! Somebody might hear us!" Calli whispered.

"W-what are you doing with that Snake!?" Kiara asked and Calli frowned.

"You guys don't know anything about her, but trust me we are doing this for the safety of the city" Calli reassured but Kiara didnt lower her guard down.

"If you say so... I gotta go now talk to you later Calli!" Kiara said and ran out of the alley leaving Calli.

A few days passed and Snake made a move again and stole a very precious pendant.

"Calli take this back and hide it in the vault." Kronii ordered and Calli noded as she fleed from the scene.

"Pheonix! Go after Reaper ASAP!!" Owl ordered and Kiara immediately ran after her.

Calli tried to loose her in the alleyways but failed miserably and was almost out of breath, meanwhile Kiara was catching up.

As Kiara jumped on Calli, the pendant that she was holding fell of the canal and was never found again.

"NOO!!" Both Kiara and Calli shouted.

"I'm so gonna get killed by Kron-" Calli almost said Snake's true identity infront of her enemy.

"Who?" Kiara asked as she got closer to Calli.

"Nobody!" Calli said and ran off.

"She's as cute as ever hehe." Kiara said and ran back towards where Owl was currently battling Snake.

After the raid Calli sat down at her chair as she was just done getting scolded by Kronii.

Not longer she received a message from an unknown number.

'Wonder who could tho be.' She thought as she opened the message.

'Hey Calli! Its me Kiara I was wondering if you wanted to hang out a little, if you do want just text me!' As soon as she read the message a smile formed on her face as she typed a reply.
