Heavy military boots crunched against the rugged ground, stepping across dirt and rocks on the surface they stepped on. Commander halts on his steps, his eyes carefully scanning his surroundings.

Scout, Minigunner, Accelerator, Cowboy, and Shotgunner followed behind the leader. The team was currently on patrol for any enemies planning to attack nearby.

Commander raised his hand and balled it into a fist, gesturing as a sign to stop. His team would immediately catch the signal, also halting in their tracks.

Only the breezy wind could be heard whispering, it was oddly strong enough to tip-off tip off Commander's hat off his head.

Scout would speak up between the silence, "We've been on patrol for an hour now, sir. There's not a single enemy to be spotted around the areas we've already scanned. We've even double-checked each possible spot they could be in." he huffed, he would crouch on his knees. He was exhausted, and so was the rest of the team, carrying their heavy weapons in their hands for too long.

They have good endurance as they are trained for that but it's especially reserved for the battlefield. Commander had them on patrol every early morning for 2 weeks now. Patrols wouldn't take too long at all, but something has fuzzing out the leader's mind that is making him do this.

Commander would divert his gaze towards the drained team, he felt guilty inside. He sighed, putting his team first before his worries as he turned his heel to the direction of the base, "Let's go, that's enough for today. Let's take a break." He spoke in a quiet, low tone, even he was exhausted too.

The thought of taking a break back to the base was be relaxing. The team would return to the base shortly.

"Hey guys! Took you long enough, was patrol that busy?" DJ would comment as he greeted the team, the rest of their teammates who stayed behind would follow and also greeted the patrol team as strolled to their respective rooms and dropped their weapons to take a break.

DJ would catch his eye on Commander, who hasn't said a thing ever since they retreated to the base. Lately, the two hadn't had time to hang out or talk lately.

He'd notice that Commander was starting to become anxious, taking extra measures to security and look out for any incoming battles. He's been also kind of distant, the bags under his eyes would contribute to his sluggish behaviour each time they return from early morning patrols.

The DJ hasn't had any chance to interact with him either since the leader was busy with a lot of paperwork and planning. But this time, he's going to try to push through to him.

As Commander strutted towards to the direction of his office, DJ would follow behind with a friendly grin painted on his face that said a lot.

He'd speak, "Hey, Comm! Can I hang with you in your office this time?" He asked politely, Commander would almost flinch to the DJ's loud sudden voice.

He was too tired to pay attention to anything that he didn't even notice the DJ following behind him, his groggy eyes stared blankly towards the music support tower.
