Please don't kill me for the way I ended this, trust me, it hurt me more. I fell in love with Doll and Aries bond so doing this tore me apart.
If you made it this far, thank you so much!! As I said in the very beginning this story was for an assignment in class so everything was done for a reason! Doll dying, the article quotes, the fact that no side character had a name, the way I started each part with the same sentence wasn't because I wasn't creative enough to think of anything other than "the next two weeks" etc. LMAO
I'm not going to get up here and explain the entire assignment but I hope my story made even a slight of a difference, if at least one person reading this want's to help kids like Dahlia and become a foster parent or a social worker then my job here is done.
My professor said I should turn this into a full book, make this short story longer... What do we think?
I might start posting more short stories on here so please leave some things you liked or didn't like about my writing, I'm sort of new to this and I'm always open to constructive criticism.
OHH and if you didn't know, I am writing a series, it's called The Hale Trilogy which follows three siblings. Sire, August and Sage, all of them are a sports romance (baseball)
The first book will be Sire's and Vidia's. If you're not new here then you already got a lot of sneak peeks of them but if you are new, their book will be a second chance romance, there's betrayal and revenge but most importantly it'll be spicy HAHAH.
The second book will follow August and Hazel, Hazel is Vidia's best friend, this is a grumpy x sunshine BUT the girl is grumpy! Do I even need to give more details?!
The last one will be Sage's book and mystery man (hehe) it' brothers rival, grumpy x sunshine, he falls first <33. I might even write a spin off (hold me to that because I have so many ideas for this series) I plan to publish these some time in the future but for more updates on that you can follow my tiktok its - officially.janiah
