Author note: I was thinking that Stella Kidd doesn't like to do long Distance in this book, that is what happening, Kelly and Stella broke it off in this book. But maybe in the TV show, she's ok with it.
Kelly woke up and went to his kitchen to get himself a cup of coffee. The house feeling empty ever since him and Stella filed for divorce because Stella had to move. "Can't be late Severide... Just do the best you can, you're still talk to her as a friend..." Kelly says to himself after finishing his coffee then he cleans the cup and puts it back in the cupboard then goes to his work. "We're still on talking terms Casey... But she had no other choice but to move and do this job" Kelly repiled after Matt asked him a question. Kelly starts to do his work before the alarm goes off and he gets up from his desk and goes to location where the alarm told his co-workers to go. One location finished and they all head back, Kelly went to the kitchen and made another cup of coffee and he thinks to himself as he hears people talking.
