Kelly turns over the next morning and tries to cuddle Alya but he doesn't notice that Alya slept in the guest bedroom, he pats the bed before getting up and notices she's not there and he looks confused. "What the hell?" Kelly whispers to himself then he gets up and goes to the guest bedroom and sees Alya sleeping there, he does a little smile before noticing something on the nightstand and he looks confused again before quietly walking over to the nightstand and grabbing the small sealed bag and he looks at Alya before quietly walking out. of course, as the bag does look a little suspicious, Kelly grabs his phone and calls Erin for a little help. After talking to Erin, he walks to the police station. "Hey... have you got it?" Erin asks and she sees Kelly take out the small bag, she grabs it after Kelly gives it to her. "I don't know if it's a drug or something else, I haven't seen it before... So I thought you could help" Kelly tells Erin as he looks at her and sees her nodding. "Of course," Erin says before walking inside the station and checking what Alya has been giving him. Kelly starts to walk to his work.
After arriving at work, Kelly walks to his office and checks his paperwork before hearing the alarm and going to the location. Meanwhile, Alya wakes up and looks over to the nightstand and notices that her vervain is missing, she gets up and she mutters "Shit..." Then she quickly changes her clothes to her everyday clothes then she bites her lips as she's worried that Kelly will find out. Kelly, on the other hand, went back to the firehouse when he heard his phone ringing. he grabs his phone and answers the call. After the call, Kelly puts down his phone and holds his head as he's mad before hearing the alarm for everyone again before going to the location again.
After work, Kelly went back to the police station to grab the vervain before heading home. Arriving home, he sees Alya and he crosses his arms at her as he's holding the vervain in his hands, Alya sees it and she looks at him. "Care to explain what you were doing with this herb?" Kelly asks and Alya looks down. "Kelly... I..." Alya starts to stutter as she doesn't know how to tell him while Kelly looks at her a little mad as she keeps a secret from him. "I... used... the vervain in your coffee... because... I was protecting you" Alya says as she looks at him and Kelly looks at her. "From what?" Kelly asks as he looks at her. "Me..." Alya says and she sees Kelly get mad then she stays quiet. "Alya, you can't just drug people, Especially using a fucking herb... It's a crime!" Kelly tells her and Alya looks at him. "I know..." Alya says and she looks down. after a while, they're calm talking slowly starts to become an argument. "Fine! I'll leave... but I can't promise you that I'll be in Chicago!" Alya yells at Kelly before going to another room and grabbing her stuff before leaving. Kelly holds his head as he sighs and sits down before getting up again to grab himself a glass of beer before going to bed and falling asleep.
As Alya is walking back to her old home in New Orleans, she's holding back her tears as she doesn't want to break down in front of anyone then she knocks on before walking in after Elijah lets her in. "I'm fine Uncle Elijah... Just..." Alya says as her voice breaking down from the breakup that she and Kelly had. Elijah pulls her in for a hug as Alya sobs in his arms and he sees Izzy coming down. "What's going on here?" Izzy asks as she sees Alya crying. "I think she had a breakup..." Elijah says and he allows Izzy to hold Alya. As Izzy is holding Alya, she can hear Alya muttering to herself before Alya breaks the hug. "I'm... gonna go to my old bedroom..." Alya says before walking to her old room. Of course Riley notices and she tries to cheer up Alya but Alya does a little laugh but still looks sad as Riley is trying her best. "It's ok sissy, you don't have to make me smile," Alya tells Riley but she notices Riley pulling a face and she does a little weak smile. "I promise Sissy" Alya says and Riley stands there for a moment then she nods before walking to her room. Alya was about to lie down but she saw something on her old nightstand, she grabbed it and saw a drawing of her and Riley which made her smile a little bit before she put it back down on the nightstand and laid on her bed looking up to the ceiling before slowly falling asleep.
