before i met her i was in such a bad place.
i turned to drugs and alcohol thinking that it would take away all the pain i endured from my abusive father.
but of course it didnt help.
it turns out the whole time i just needed someone like her.
someone like her to make me feel safe.
when she first found out i was being abused she stayed with theo and i seeing as she also didnt have a safe place to stay.
she said that she would keep me safe as long as she was with me.
i also promised to keep her safe.
i fell in love with her so fast and i didnt even know love was real until i met her.
she would help clean up the little cuts i would get when he would hit me.
she would trace my bruises with her finger while we would cuddle and would ask if they hurt.
i would always lie and say no.
we would take baths together when i would come home late after getting beat up by my father.
she made me forget about him whenever we were together.
she is my safe place and always will be.
