The Sweet Adventures of Zanahorijess

Promposal

Zana- I mean Jimmy has really liked Jess for a long time now. Ever since 8th grade. Ah the memories of 8th grade. But that's another story.

Anyway, prom was coming up and Jimmy wants to take Jess. But the problem is that he doesn't know how. He wants do to something really special to show Jess how much she means to him, but his mind is drawing a blank.

Jimmy has lunch 6th period. He sat down next to his friend Jaheim and sat in silence.

"Bro you ok?" Jaheim asked.

"Eh. I'm trying to find a way to ask Jess to Prom."

"Why don't you just ask one of her friends?" Jaheim offered, munching on a carrot.

"Good idea!"

Jimmy walked up to a lunch table where Jess' friends Peyton, Kaitlyn and Maggie sat.

"Hey Jimmy. What's up?" Peyton asked, acknowledging Jimmy.

As Jimmy sat down he said, "Ok so I really want to ask Jess to prom, but I don't know how. I want it to be really special." Jimmy said.

Silence

"AHHHHHHHHH!!!" Kaitlyn and Maggie squealed in unison.

"Ok then.." Jimmy said.

"I have the perfect idea." Maggie said, with a mischievous look in her eyes.

...

A few days later

"Hey Jess come with me. I have a surprise." Kaitlyn told jess and her locker.

"Kaitlyn I literally don't trust you at all."Jess told Kaitlyn, closing we locker.

"Aw come on. its nothing bad."

Kaitlyn pulled on Jess' sleeve, all the way through the front doors.

The whole school (well almost the whole school) formed a pathway. Jess stared in aw.

"Go ahead!" Kaitlyn irked Jess.

"Ummmm..." Jess stared to walk Down the path.

As she was walking, she saw her friend Maggie holding a sign that said "Will".

A little farther down, Peyton was holding a sign that said "You."

Kaitlyn must have ran ahead past her because she was holding a sign that said "Go".

Another one of Jess' best friends named olivia was holding "To".

Jess' friend Rachel, whom she likes to call Lads, was holding a sign that said "Prom".

Jess started to get butterflies in her stomach. If only Jimmy was at the end of this path she thought.

Jaheim held "With" and standing next to him was the one and only Jimmy, wearing a Tshirt that said "ME!".

Jess stood still in shock, and slowly brought her hands to her mouth.

Jimmy brought a bouquet of flowers from around his back and made his way to Jess.

"Hey sweetie," Jimmy started. "I was hoping you would like to go to Prom with me."

Jess was still in shock but quickly nodded her head yes.

"SHE SAID YES!" Jimmy shouted as he pumped his fist in the air. He wrapped his arms sound Jess, picked her up and spun her around.

As he put her down, they stared at each other's eyes and started to lean in...
