Prompt: Finney gets drunk and has Robin come pick him up

It was a cool Friday night, Robin was sitting at home reading while listening to the soft rain just outside. Now, Robin wasn't normally a reader. But when he found a book that he enjoyed, he would actually sit down and read it.

About 30 minutes later, he felt his phone vibrating. He picked it up and saw that Finney, who was in his phone as Mi Amor💕, was calling.

Robin was confused as to why Finney was calling so late, but he picked up.

"Hello?"

"Hey rob." Finney slurred

"Hey Finn, you alright?" Robin asked, he could tell that Finney was under the influence.

"Yeah yeah I'm fine, listen I hate to ask but can you come pick me up? I'm like, wasted, and so is everyone else. I'm just not comfortable getting into a car with anyone."

Robin's heart softened, thankful that Finney decided to call him.

"Of course my love, send me the address?"

"Yea sure. Thank you rob, I really appreciate it."

"No problem, I'm on my way."

Robin hung up the phone and slid it in his pocket. He put on his shoes, grabbed his keys and jacket, and left. He didn't necessarily like when Finney would get drunk, but he didn't mind it either. He just preferred that they were together when he started drinking, that way Robin would be able to protect him just incase.

Robin started the car and the GPS route to the address Finney had given him, it was about a 20 minute drive. So, Robin turned on his and Finneys playlist and started driving. It was a quiet night, not a lot of people were out, you'd see about one car every 5 minutes, the roads were basically empty.

It was nice, with the small town that they lived in, they rarely ever got any sense of the sweet sound of silence, everybody was always doing something. There would be teenagers walking in the middle of the night, you could hear the movies playing at the drive in from miles away, and there was always some type of party going on. So to have a silent moment where robin could collect his thoughts was really nice

He soon arrived at the house and saw Finney sitting on the steps out side.

"Finn," Robin whistled, catching Finneys attention.

Finney snapped his head up and smiled at the sight of his boyfriend. He got up and stumbled towards the car.

"Woah woah, do you need help?" Robin asked Finn, wanting to keep him from getting hurt.

"Yeah probably," Finney laughed.

Robin smiled and got out of the car to help Finney. He grabbed Finneys arm and put it over his shoulder, his other arm going around Finneys waist. They walked to the car together and Robin put Finney in the passengers seat, robin got back in the drivers side and started the car.

"Thank you for coming my love," Finney whispered ever so soft, you wouldn't be able to hear him if it wasn't dead silent out.

"No need to thank me, I'm just glad you're safe."

"I should of left sooner," Finney mumbled.

Robin raised an eyebrow, "Why's that?"

"Ce putain de Matty a commencé sa merde." He said angrily, Finney switched to French out of habit when he was angry or upset, he didn't even realize until someone asked him what he meant.

"Matty what?"

"Oh, sorry. I said that fucking Matty started his shit."

"You're all good my love," Robin reassured, "What'd he do?"

"I'm sitting with Bruce right, and we're literally just talking having a good time and Matty came up behind me and pulled my hair. So we got into it and he swung on me, I punched him back and walked away because I didn't want a fight to break out but it like ruined the whole night. He's the main reason I had you come pick me up besides the fact that I'm like drunk." Finney ranted, he clenched his fist just thinking about the memory.

"Ah, I see. Well I'm proud of you for fighting back, you did good finn."

"Thank you rob, can we please go home now?"

Robin chuckled, "Of course."
