*Kate's POV*

Hi! My name is Kate, and I am the proud owner of a dance studio called The Next Step. We just won Regionals, and I am so excited for Nationals! I am very confident about where my team stands right now, and I feel like if we all work together and stay focused, then we can win. Well, I guess I should introduce you to the team.

First, our choreographers are my kind of cooky sister, Pheobe, and Chloe, the sweetheart of the group. She used to be a student here, but because she's been struggling with paying for the classes, we decided she could be a choreographer. Everyone loves her.

Our Dance Co-Captains are frenemies, Emily and Michelle. They are pretty much exact opposites, but I think that's why they work so well together as co-captains.

Emily is the leader of a little clique called the E-Girls. The others are Stephanie, her best friend, Riley, her little sister, Giselle, and Tiffany. They aren't the nicest people, but they can still work well with the rest of the team. Sometimes, though, I feel like Riley is the only one with a real heart.

Michelle, on the other hand, is super nice. She is not an E-Girl, and although Riley is probably one of her closest friends, she never will be. She is good friends with the boys, though. Eldon, West, and James are absolutely crazy and a little annoying, but they're amazing dancers, so the E-Girls aren't too bad to them.

Then, there's Thalia, who, besides dance, is probably the glue that holds the group together. She gets along well with everyone, and even though she's not an E-Girl, they all love her because of her style, and she's always making Michelle and the boys laugh.

At Nationals, we can have no less than 10 dancers, but they do allow us to have 2 alternates just in case something happens to 1 of our dancers, so we are going to hold auditions to find them.

So that's my team! I know that no matter what, we are going to do great at Nationals.
