She says while walking towards the room Markus is in.
???: Oh you're awake.
M: Ah it's you.
M: I'm surprised I'm even alive right now.
???: Yea luckily I got to you right after the fight.
???: I'm sorry about your arm...
M:Oh it's fine, at least I got away with my life.
???: I also wanted to say thank you for helping me.
M: It's no problem, I'm glad you're okay.
???: By the way my name is Yufina.
M: My name is Markus nice to meet you.
Y: Well I'm sure you're hungry, I'll go make some food and come right back.
M: Nonsense I will just come with you.
Markus try's to get up but doesn't realize how bad he got hurt.
M: Agh shit!
Y: Wait don't get up!
M: Alright...
Markus decides to give up on leaving his bed, which doesn't sit right with him at all.
Markus doesn't like sitting around doing nothing, it makes him feel useless...
After 10 minutes Yufina comes back with some soup, bread and some water.
Y: Here you go, I know it's not much but it's all I have since I haven't hunted anything recently.
M: No it's fine really, you didn't have to bring me anything so I'm thankful you did.
Markus reaches for his spoon with his right hand.
M:Ah... I am so used to using my right arm for everything.
Markus has to use his left hand which is a challenge since he is right handed.
Y: Uh if you need me to I can feed you...
M:Thanks for the offer but I should try and get used to using my left arm from now on.
Markus's thoughts: Not only that I would want to die from embarrassment after having someone feed me.
After trying his best to eat Markus notices something about Yufina.
M:Oh Yufina you're an elf?
Y: I thought I was hiding them!
Y: Please don't start yelling at me since I'm an elf.
M:Why would I yell at you for hiding your ears or because your an elf?
Y: Well I wanted to hide them since there are people who still discriminate against elf's even now.
M: Didn't that happen almost 100-150 years ago?
Y: You mean the war between humans and the demons? yea it happened a long time ago but some people still think we worked with the demons.
M: Well you don't have to worry I'm not going to hate you just because your an elf, plus you did save my life.
Y:Then we're even since you helped me. Well I'm gonna leave so you can rest.
Markus notices something on Yufina's leg and arm.
M: I know this isn't any of my business but what happened to your leg and arm?
