CHAPTER TWENTY-SIX

The morning sun broke through the curtains of the four-poster, waking Ophelia from what felt like a deep, restful sleep. She looked around, noticing the curtains were completely shut sole for the tiny crack that was letting the sun in from the dormitory window that looked out into the Black Lake. Ophelia swallowed hard, her throat was dry and her chest felt heavy. She looked down, noticing a large arm draped lazily over her chest and she remembered everything. She smirked softly at the memory, before her smile quickly fell, realizing she was in Cassius' dormitory. Thomas' dormitory. She looked down, noticing she was wearing one of Cassius' quidditch jerseys and her dress was draped over the foot of the bed. She'd have to somehow get her dress back on and sneak out without any of the seventh year boys noticing her, if they hadn't already. Thomas would have dragged Cassius out of his bed by the roots of his hair if he had known, so she knew she was safe in that regard, for now.

She slowly peeled Cassius' arm off of her, placing It back down by his side. He looked so peaceful when he was sleeping. He was sleeping on his stomach, his back completely exposed, showing off the thick musculature of it. Cassius Warrington was sculpted by the Gods, she swore. He was an Adonis on earth. She could honestly sit there all day and admire his body, but no, people would start to wake up soon, and if she didn't sneak back to her dormitory right now, the Common Room would start to fill up at any time. She slowly pulled back the curtain, peeking her head out into the room. The only sound she heard was light snores from the other beds, so she let her bare feet hit the wood floor as she quickly pulled her dress up, taking off Cassius' jersey once she was completely covered.

"Hey." Cassius whispered with a grin. "You're leaving?"

"Unless you want to be murdered by my cousin, I reckon I should leave soon."

Cassius' expression dropped slightly at the thought of Thomas finding out what he'd done with his cousin, and sat up quickly in his bed. "I'm sorry, I should have walked you back last night."

She leaned over the bed to quickly peck him on the lips. "No, it was perfect. Thank you."

She did another once over of the room and darted out the door, breathing a sigh of relief as she stepped out into the boy's hallway. She almost wanted to go tell Blaise all the details, because he always subjected her to listening to his detailed conquests, but she decided against it in case Draco was in there. She didn't want to see his stupid face.

Daphne was sitting on the edge of her bed when Ophelia snuck back into the girl's dormitory, her face lifting to look at her with confusion before realization set in.

"Ophelia, where were you?" She asked cautiously as Ophelia approached her own bed. Ophelia didn't respond, she merely stared blankly back at Daphne. "Ophelia... are you alright?"

"I'm fine." She replied. Realization had finally sunk in. She'd lost her virginity to Cassius Warrington. Did she enjoy it? Yes. Did she only do it because she was angry and upset with Draco, and Cassius was making her feel better? Possibly... Yes.

"Who were you with...?" Daphne asked cautiously again. When Ophelia finally met her eyes, Daphne clamped her hands over her mouth. "Warrington?!" She whispered.

Ophelia nodded, biting down on her lip. "It all happened so fast."

"Oh, really?" Daphne frowned. "I'd have thought he would have last—"

"No, no! Not like that." Ophelia giggled. "I just meant how it happened, it was just fast. I wasn't planning it at all."

"Well, Happy Birthday to you, then." She smirked before leaning forward with a massive grin on her lips. "You have to tell me all about it, details and all."
