THIRD PERSON'S POV

The exam went well from the first period until the second. It was lunchtime and instead of eating in the school canteen, students doesn't seem so hungry they were all packed in their classrooms still holding their books. Review for the other exam that they need to take after a few minutes. Meanwhile, the pale girl was looking at her best friend who hasn't spoken to her since she came back from somewhere. She has that odd feeling that there is something wrong, but she didn't know why.

"Are you done reviewing?" the tall maknae asked as she caught the pale girl lost in her thoughts.

"Ah, yes." she simply answered and stood up. She's planning to buy snacks since she hasn't eaten breakfast.

"I'm going to the canteen. Do you want something Tzu?" she asked.

"Just a croissant." the tall girl answered and she nods in response. She then faced the smol bean on her right and decided to ask her.

"Chae, what about you?" she asked. But instead of receiving an answer the smol bean just shrugged and ignored her completely which made her gasp in annoyance. She tapped the smol bean's shoulder to get her attention but then again she received no response. The smol bean took something out of her pocket and plugged in a pair of earphones.

The pale girl badly want to confront her about her sudden attitude but she decided to let it pass for now. Everyone is busy and focused on reviewing and she doesn't want to disturb them by shouting at her friend. And besides, she's responsible for the class having their peaceful study time.

Her nose was flaring as she turned her back to the smol bean and left the room. However, Tzu has been eyeing them since that morning and she can completely sense that something is off between the two. Without causing a noise she scooted over the smol bean and tapped her to get her attention. The cub looked at her slightly frowning.

"Yah, what's wrong with you and Dubs?" she blatantly asked. She received no response but a deep sigh as the cub averted her gaze back to the book she was reading.

"Yah, are you guys trying to leave me out? Spill." the tall girl added and pinched the cub slightly.

"Oh please Tzu, even she didn't know why I'm mad at her." the smol bean annoyingly said as she flashed a frown face.

"Then what's the point of getting mad and ignoring her if she didn't even know." the tall girl could only shake her head in disbelief and went back to her seat quietly.

On the other hand, Dahyun was standing in a not-so-long queue in front of the canteen counter. Lost in her thoughts. Her peaceful day was unexpectedly ruined by none other than her best friend who keeps on ignoring her. She don't have any idea why the cub suddenly treated her like that, the last time they were together was the last day of lessons before the revision week. And now the cub is acting strange around her without even telling her why.

"Miss?" her thoughts were interrupted when she realized that she was next in line. A girl that is probably in her 20s is smiling at her from ear to ear. She is probably new since she hasn't seen her face before.

"Oh yeah right, I want one croissant please, a choco pie, and a two choco milkshakes." she requested and took out her wallet. She gave the pale girl the order and strangely the pale girl received two choco pies which she immediately tried to return since she only asked for one.

"No miss, that's a treat." the girl said still smiling at the pale girl while looking directly into her eyes. The pale girl suddenly felt uncomfortable and out of nowhere, she felt like she was being watched by someone.
