Monday.
Among the seven days within a week, Rok Soo disliked Mondays the most.
Because Mondays mean he must go back to school and study random stuff that he knows would only have less than 40% of it being used in real life.
If anything, he's more interested in the amount of gravity his bed could muster, every time the clock's shorter hand landed the cursed number, four.
That being said, contrary to people's beliefs, he never really hated Monday despite his grumbles.
And it was because of his two 'pretty best friends' who would always paint his days with color and admittedly made school and those dreaded classes to be less shitty than they normally would be.
Having Choi Jung So latching on him the moment he stepped into the school ground, then nodding to respond to Lee Soo Hyuk's greeting from the second floor— that's how his week usually started.
However, not this time...
Bracing himself for impact, Rok Soo who had slowed his pace, soon came to a full stop and looked around when he noticed the absence of the cheerful brunet.
'Where is that goon?'
Could it be that Jung Soo is late today?
Did something happen?
Did he oversleep?
—That raven shrugged his shoulders as he tried to drown his worries so he could get back to his schedule and his daily rhythm instead.
However, as the first and second periods passed and still no signs of the energetic punk, Rok Soo could no longer deny his anxiety and immediately went to the senior floor as soon the bell for lunch break rang.
"Soo Hyuk!"
Walking fast to the older male, because running in the hallway is forbidden, Rok Soo did not waste any more seconds asking the taller boy.
"Did that idiot contact you?"
No talking around the bush, Rok Soo needed to know where the hell is Jung Soo and whether that stupid-ass is alive NOW. All the while he was cursing the bad timing of his phone being broken and in need of reparations because the mentioned MIA person accidentally nudged him so hard that he dropped the phone.
'I swear that motherfucker would pay for everything—'
"Rok Soo."
Snapping the boy whose mind is running a mile, by putting his hands onto the younger's shoulders, Lee Soo Hyuk stared at the slightly shaking Reddish-brown pair and firstly talked to him.
"Calm down."
Holding the slightly trembling shoulders albeit firmly, Soo Hyuk offers some silent comfort and stability the way he knows the younger would prefer to get as he tries to calm himself down from the building-up panic.
Only once he felt that Rok Soo is stable enough, he began to speak.
"Jung Soo arrived ten to fifteen minutes earlier than you today."
'—wait. He did?'
Then, where could the brunet possibly be?
And why hadn't he bugged him around like he usually would?
Lee Soo Hyuk could see the questions in the younger's eyes, and thus he continued on the news.
"He's resting at the infirmary–"
"Why?"
Ears perked at the mention of the place, Rok Soo's eyes clouded over dreading the worst.
The infirmary associates him the most among the three of them.
