Chad's POV
A year later
April 22, 2015

"Chad, come on." Avril says as I get out of bed finally.

Ryan Vikedal didn't get Parole and is not eligible for another hearing until 2035.

We go downstairs and I see she's made breakfast and I sigh as I'm not int he mood to eat.

I take a small pancake and two sausage links and slowly eat them.

"Chad, you need to eat more." Avril says and I send her a glare.

"No, I don't." I say and she sighs.

"What the hell is your problem this week?" She asks and I glare at her as I slam my fork down.

"My problem Avril? My fucking problem is you! You made it so that my daughter left because she didn't want me to chose between you and her! My problem is that the baby I've raised since 2002 on my own basically left to live with her boyfriend in LA because she was so badly hurt and tired of your shit and I was blindly in love with you!" I yell and she scoffs.

"Well, let's have a baby then Chad if you miss that one so much!" She says and I glare at her.

"Avril, what part of the Heart condition Misty has is paternally genetic do you not understand!? I'm a fucking carrier of Aortic Tachycardia and most likely any child I have will have it! Christy was lucky enough not to get it, but she's a carrier!" I yell and she rolls her eyes.

"Roll you goddamn eyes, Avril, I don't give a shit. My daughter left because you made it so that I didn't show her love. Oh, and I found these! Bills for two abortions!" I yell, throwing the bills on the table.

"You went and aborted one at fourteen weeks and another at eleven and you want a baby so fucking badly! What was wrong with them, Avril, huh? What was wrong with them?" I ask her and she looks down and that's when I realize what she did.

"You framed my daughter! You went and had an abortion and then acted like you miscarried from stress over Misty." I say and she glares at me.

"It got her out of the picture, didn't it? I wanted you, not a byproduct of one of your failed relationships, Chad." She says and I slam my hand onto he table as I go to the cabinet and get the divorce papers out and slam them on the table.

"You're divorcing me?" She asks and I nod.

"I'm not going to be with someone who doesn't love me daughter and only causes her pain. You have a week to get your shit together and get the hell out of my house. I'm going to LA to get my daughter." I say as I grab my coat and take off.
