June 2006
Chad's POV

It's been four years since Bailey and Christy left for California. Four years since it's just been Misty, well Asher, and I.

Misty's name was legally changed as of last year to Asher Holden Kroeger. Since then, she has lived as a boy.

She just turned 7 this year and I still can't believe it.

Dawson, Mike's oldest son, is 9 this year and his daughter, Avalon, is 5. Amanda is currently pregnant with their third child, another boy.

Ryan and his wife Trisha have welcomed their second child, a little girl named Annie to go along with their 4 year old son Lukas.

Our newest band member, Daniel, just married his wife, Lila, and has become a stepfather to a 10 year old boy, Lax, a 7 year old boy, Max, and a 3 year old girl Callie.

Asher has been diagnosed for three years now with Aortic Tachycardia. He has to be on seven different medications.

Xanaflox for Arrhythmia, Godipine for heart murmurs, Mascine for strengthening hid Aortic muscles Ludipine for his Tachycardia, Dupinax for seizures, Tramadol for pain, and Lucanix for immune support, as Mascine, Xanaflox, and Dupinax weaken his immune system.

Right now, we are on tour for the album we recently released last September. All the Right Reasons.

We are in New York right now and getting prepared to play at Madison Square Gardens for the third time.

Ryan and Daniel has Asher, Lax, Max, Lukas, Dawson, and Avalon at the play place in McDonald's right now while Mike and I do sound check.

As I'm walking to the McDonald's they're in after sound check, I see Bailey coming towards me.

"Chad?" She asks and I sigh as I turn around and face her, seeing her with my other child and two younger ones.

"What Bailey?" I ask and she looks to Christy.

"This is your da-" I cut her off.

"Don't even try it, Bailey. Don't." I say as I walk away and she stands there shocked.

I get I side and get Asher from the slide and he happily comes to me.

"Come on bus, we got to get to the bus." I say and he lets me carry him to my bus.

After the concert I'm sitting in the bus, looking at the only photo I have of Christy and Asher. God they looked so much alike then.
