I pulled up to school. I saw my friend Hannah waiting for me by the doors. "Hey, good morning?" She asked. "Possibly one of the easiest mornings." I said playfully. We walked to first period, as the teacher blabbed about history, Hannah and I were chatting about our School Fair. "So, what are we wearing?" I asked. "I don't know Kat, I'm thinking...hot, but summerish." Hannah adds. "And what exactly is your definition of summerish?" I laughed. "You know, yellow, orange summery colors." "Well I don't even know if I'm going, Rosalinda is probably not going to let me go, and Hannah, I don't even have a money!" I shouted. "Hun, you don't need money, and we can go together. Pleeeaaaasseeee?" She cried. "No" I said firmly. "At least think about it?" She asked. I let out a sigh. *bell rings* "Bye, Kat, call me later, let me know if you change your mind!" She shouted as I got in my car. Before I could leave, my stepsisters Hallie and Sam walked up to me. "Katerina, darling, don't even waste your thinking time thinking about the fair, you'll have chores to do. Got it?" Hallie says. "Look, I don't have to listen to you, darling" I said with a rude tone. "You don't own me and I can make my own decisions" I proclaimed. "Well we'll just see what mom has to say about that" she said with a huff. "Sweetheart, that's your mom" I winked and got in my car and headed home.
