"James." He hears someone whisper into his ear, making him cuddle more into the pillows that he was currently holding onto. "James we have to get up, we have school." The voice says again, this time, James actually brings himself to open his eyes.He look up at the person who had been whispering to him, and see August with a huge smile on his face, making James smile even brighter at him.
"Good morning." James rubs his eyes, trying to wake myself up a little more - hoping that if he was more awake he could take in more of what was happening.
"Morning." He leans down and kisses James's nose, before turning around and jumping off the bed. Although he's left alone on the bed, he doesn't feel any sense of longing, as looking at August getting changed was the only thing that He needed in that moment. "Are you gonna get up, or are you just gonna lay there watch me all day?" He chirps, making James laugh.
James flings the blanket off his legs and stands up, stretching out the aching muscles on his body. August had just finished putting his new trousers on when he walks up to James, places his hands on his hips and smashes his lips on mine. James thought it was a bit strange to see him so ready to show that much PDA already but He honestly didn't mind, if August was comfortable, he wasn't gonna stop him.
"We have to get going." James laughs slightly as August kisses down his neck, onto his collar bones.
"Oh, how the tables have turned." He whispers, as he sucks gently onto James's skin.
"Shut up." James pushes him away with a smile, before going over to his bag and pulling out some clothes. Not wanting to dress extremely fancy today, James just slides on a pair of sweatpants and a shirt.
"I think I should go now." He says to August, as he sits down on his bed tying his shoes. He looks up, stands up, and walks over to James. He grips his waist, and pulls him in for one last kiss.
"I'll see you later." He smiles as James turns to leave. "James!" He calls just before he completely opens the door. James turns toward Him and find a distressed look on his face. "Can we keep this between us?"
James would hate to admit it, but his heart slightly broke at those words. He was foolish to think that August would've wanted to go public, as He knew that only a few days prior, August was saying how he has never liked men in that way.
"Okay." James puts on his best fake smile and walks out the door, heading directly to his shared dorm.
He quietly opens the door, careful not to wake Wille and Simon if they were still sleeping. Unfortunately, neither of them are laying in the bed, though it is unmade. James looks toward the door to the bathroom and gently knocks on it.
"Wille? Are you in there?" James says loud enough for him to hear through the door.
"Yeah, I'll be done in a minute." He walks toward his bed and puts his bag down, before laying down on the bed, smiling slightly to himself over the events that occurred in the last few hours.
"Have a good night?" Wille asks as he walks back into the room. James looks up at him, finding him rummaging through his closet.
"Yeah, it was good, learned a lot actually." He slowly turns around, making James gasp at his face. A large purple bruise covering half of his face.
"It's that bad, huh?" Wille laughs slightly.
"What the fuck happened to you?" I instantly stands and make my way toward him, I grab his face and inspect the bruise further.
"I made a mistake." He says simply.
"Who did this?" Rage running through James's veins seemed to fuel the instant adrenaline rush.
"It was an accident." He tries to explain, but He looks at him, waiting for him to tell the story. "I thought Simon wanted to come over so we could make up, turns out, he did just want help with homework. I tried to kiss him, and he pushed me away, but I lost balance and fell onto my bed, hitting my face on the stack of books he had brought with him. Hence the bruise."
"I don't have to kick anyones ass?"
"Definitely not, I don't need you to be expelled." He laughs slightly. James sighs in relief that Wille wasn't being pushed around by someone - especially someone he cared so deeply for.
"Want me to cover that up a bit?" He looks at James slightly intrigued by his question, but nods slowly. James walks over to his closet and pull out his makeup bag. "This should only take a few minutes."
Within 5 minutes the bruise had almost completely disappeared, thanks to James's amazing coverage skills. Wille walks into the bathroom, looking at the makeup in awe.
"Where did you even learn how to do this?" He was in awe.
"I've had a lot of practice." James smiles, hoping the answer was enough to make him drop the subject completely.
"Thanks dude, I owe you." He taps James's shoulder before walking back to his bed, to get dressed.
"I assume you haven't spoken to Simon since yesterday." James sits down on his bed, as he waits for Wille to get dressed.
"No, and I don't think I will anytime soon." He sarcastically laughs.
"Why? Just tell him you had the wrong idea and you're sorry that you assumed, then you can be friends."
"It's really not that easy."
"Actually it is, if you want to make things work in the long run, you have to go for it, make sure you have no regrets at the end of the day."
"Thank you for your words of wisdom, your highness, but I'm okay, I think I've embarrassed myself enough as is." He mocks James with the royal lingo.
He grabs his backpack and swings it around his shoulders, before he looks at James, waiting for him to follow in his lead, which he does eventually, and off they go to breakfast.
"We have social studies today." He starts a conversation as they walk to the dining hall.
"And?" James asks with a raised eyebrow.
"Are you coming back?" He says with urge.
"Hell no, that woman made it clear that I'm not welcome, I'll probably just sit in the dorm and catch up on some homework."
They enter the dining hall and see that it's already packed with people, so Wille and James grab a few things and head outside, preparing to have a picnic on the grass.
They sit close to where all the non-boarders arrive by bus, or by foot. Soon enough James sees Simon making his way into the school, and decide that now was probably the best time to devise a plan, at a time that Wille can't - or rather, can't - disagree.
"Simon!" James shouts as he gets up from his spot on the grass, making Wille's head whip toward him in shock.
"Hey?" He looked confused, but James decided to ignore it and carry on with the plan he hadn't planned out yet.
"I just wanted to invite you to a movie night that Wille and I are planning on Friday. He told me about those scary movie nights that some of you guys have and I wanna throw one of my own."
"I would love to James, but I can't, my mother wouldn't appreciate being a chauffeur after her shift."
"How about you come have a sleepover with me then? I feel like I hardly know you, so it would be a great time to get to know one another." He looks at James with pure hesitation, but it quickly eases into a smile.
"Okay, fine, I'm sure it'll be fun anyway."
"Great." James turns and walks back to Wille, who is very clearly pissed off.
"I hate you." He says bluntly.
"Love you too." James blows him a kiss as he sits back down.
