Sapphire is one of school favorites, last time they ever saw her. Yet, she never had a dream she ever wanted. She was a goddess, a goddess no one can resist. Even, other girls.
She's working in a boring environment. She never thought that her Dad gave her the CEO of their company. She wanted to sing, and pursue her dream to meet Demi, Britney... Especially, Camila and Lauren from Fifth Harmony, but her Dad doesn't want her to sing. He said it reminds him of her Mother. They met at her concert and Sapphire's Mother noticed him at the V.I.P. lounge.
"Sapphire, please come to my office, ASAP." Her Dad, Drew, said through a speaker.
Sapphire never want to be disturbed, especially when she's working. It was already stressful for the last 3 years. She started working when she was 17. All she wanted was ditch her Father and get her own life, but she couldn't because she doesn't want to be like her Mother. Leaving the only man who gave you so much happiness, morelikely, everything.
Sapphire entered the room, sitting down on a leather black chair infront of her Father. "Yeah Dad?" She asked, crossing her legs.
"I want you to take another job for Michele." He directly said as he typed something from his computer. "And it's not going to be easy for you.." He warned.
"What's the job, Dad?" She took a deep breath and her father sighed. "Maybe I could do it without any problem." She reassured.
"You need to travel over three different states.." He said as he picked up his clipboard and flipped one page. "Uhm, Miami, Colorado, and most of all, New York." He finished.
"Why three different states?" She asked as her father removed the glasses he was wearing.
"Because, Sap, You nee-"
"I told you not to call me that!" She practically yelled at her own Father because of the given nickname. She hated that.
"Okay, Sapphire, just go and get the girl named June Scarlett Hernandez." He cleared. "She's maybe inside that three different states." Drew gave her a folder that contains the girl named June Scarlett Hernandez. Without her picture.
"How could I get her if I don't know what she looks like?" She pointed out, as she accepted the folder.
"I will send you a picture of her on the way to your first destination." He explained.
"Is that it?" She boredly asked.
He sighed, "I need you to let her fall in love with you." He said, and Sapphire stood up.
"What?!" She shouted in disbelief, doesn't want to believe on what her Father did just said.
"I said-"
"Oh I heard what you said! But, why do I need to do that?!"
"Because, Sapphire, I promised her parents that my daughter will marry theirs." He shot up.
"Dad, that mission is impossible." Sapphire gave him a pleading look. "I can't just let a girl fall in love with me, and marry her." She defended. "If you can't consider my feelings, at least consider hers." She added.
"Do you want your own career?" He offered, and Sapphire gave him a deadly glare.
"Dad, are you seriously going to do that to me? What if I hurt her?"
"And you won't."
"But what if I did? Will she forgive me? Or not because she found out that it was all just a mission?"
"Sapphire, I just need you to concentrate on getting the girl.." Her Father said, ignoring his daughter's defence. "Maybe, I could consider the career you always wanted." He comfortably sat down. He knew about his daughter's life, practically all of it. But she refused to talk about it. He knew Sapphire is Bisexual, and can get every man and woman around the world.
That made Sapphire have second thoughts. 'It's the only way I could get out of this damp.' She thought to herself and sighed. "Deal." She reached out to make the deal handshake, but soon she realized, 'maybe?' She stopped. "I don't want a 'maybe'. I want a promise. Because, I promise to find that girl and marry her." She crossed her arms.
"I can't do that." He denied. Sapphire furrowed her eyebrows as she backs away.
"Why?" Sapphire said, in shock.
"At least, consider my company." Drew almost growled.
"But consider my feelings, dad.." She shouted, emphazising the 'dad'. "I want to pursue it, and yet, you never support at the decisions I made except it's part of your company.." She let it out angrily. She was in the position of uneven breathing because of the anger she released. It was the first time she ever shouted at her father.
"I'm sorry, but I can't promise you.." He apologized. "Maybe, if you make time for daddy's company and your singing career.. I might consider it." He smiled, reassuringly to her own daughter.
Sapphire sighed in frustration. She don't want to add another stress in her life. She really wanted to make her dad happy, for staying at his company, but she wanted to sing and meet Demi. It was her dream to be on the spotlight. She then agreed. "Okay, dad. I'm sorry I overreacted. I just want to purs-" She was cut off by her dad.
"Pursue your dream, I know. That's why I want to make time for my daughter, and give her what she wants." He hugged her. "I will do everything daddy can, okay?" He assured.
"Thanks Dad." She pleasingly said as she let go of the hug.
"But, Promise me something.." He asked then Sapphire nodded. "Please, don't be like your Mother." He said bluntly.
"I promise, Dad." She gave him a beautifully smile. "Anyway, I will go get my things ready so I could leave immediately." She said as she walked towards the door.
"Okay. And Sapphire.." He halted her. "Please succeed." He doubtly said.
"When I am not, Dad?" Sapphire smirked as she completely walked out the room.
When Sapphire walked out of the room, she ran to her own office as she fixed her things to go get ready.
June Scarlett Hernandez.
"I will find you.. Wherever you are." She reassured, looking at the information folder. "I will pursue my dream." She said as she closed the folder. She put it down and picked the things she needed for her travel.
"Let's do this, shall we?" She smirked to herself.
I will find you.. She thought.
