QUICK BACKSTORY:
Your parents died in a fire and now you have gone to live with your rich aunt Layla and uncle Oliver.

as I walked towards the carriage I saw a beautiful girl around my age, "well hello! My name is Diana, I will be escorting you back to your aunt Layla!" She said, smiling at me, "thank you Diana, I am y/n as you may know" I replied, and with that, we talked the whole way and became, pretty good friends.

"Oh my dear y/n!!" I heard aunt call as I hopped of the carriage and ran towards her to hug, "hello auntie!" I said cheerfully, "I'm so glad you could make it with Diana! Please, please, come in!" She said, nodding me and Diana in, "I will just grab my stuf-" I started, while getting interrupted by my uncle, "no need honey! The butler George will do it!" He said as I saw a tall man in a suit pick up my luggage and carry it inside. As I walked in through the fascinating doors, I saw the most beautiful house! I saw mrs Barry standing by the kitchen, waiting for Diana, "well we must be our way!" Mrs Barry started, "we don't want to be late for dinner, goodbye Layla!" Mrs Barry called while opening the door, "goodbye y/n! See you at school on Monday!" Diana called as she shut the door behind her.

"Well you should get some rest! We will go shopping tomorrow for dresses and school stuff!" Aunt called, as she lead me upstairs to a beautiful room with a big bed! I leapt onto the bed and just, slept.

The next morning, aunt woke me while I saw the maid hang up a gorgeous baby blue and white square patterned dress, with a matching blue bow on the hanger. "Good morning sunshine, be ready downstairs as soon as you can!" She said, as she and the maid left them room. I got up and slipped the dress on and tied the bow in my hair as I skipped down the stairs, "oh you look gorgeous sweetheart!" aunt called as uncle sat at the table, "doesn't she Oliver?" "oh yes she looks beautiful, you really do honey!" He replied.

Me and aunt walks into the town where there was shops everywhere! "Why is it so busy aunt?" I asked her, "because, today is Saturday, they get everything they need so tomorrow they can rest!" She started, "you may go off and pick dresses, I will grab school stuff! Meet me back here at 2:00 okay?" She asked, I nodded my head and wandered off. As I was quite enjoying my walk to the dress shop a boy ran right into me and threw up on my shoes! "miss I am so sorry!" The very handsome boy apologised, "oh well- it's okay I can just clean them." I said, smiling. "Let me re pay you! Where are you heading?" He asked "just to the dress shop" I said, "well let me pay for a dress of yours! It would be my pleasure" he said, "if you insist, and I never quite caught your name" I said, we started to walk over to the dress shop.

"Gilbert, Gilbert Blythe, you?" he said, "y/n, y/n smiths" I said as we reached the shop. "Ladies first" he said, holding the door open for me, I grabbed a few dresses and Gilbert came over to me with a pastel pink dress and a flower crown matching. "Wow gilbert this is so pretty! Are you sure?" I asked, "I said I would re pay you!" "Okay!" I said, smiling, I handed my money to the shop keeper as he handed his.

"Are you new here? I haven't seen you here before" he asked, "uh yes, I just moved!" I replied, "I will be attending the school too!" I said, joyfully, "well,I will see you there! Cya around y/n!" He said as he wondered off. Gilbert, that name will never leave my mind, and this dress! It's beautiful. I will wear it tomorrow for school! "Why are you so happy?" Aunt asked me as we walked back, "oh no reason" I said, I don't know if I could tell or not, but I was blushing. The next day was school, yay! I slipped on the dress Gilbert got me with the pink rose flower crown as well, and I skipped down the stairs. After breakfast I grabbed my basket and left for school.

I felt like today would be a good day! And I do hope it is.
