I instinctively dropped my gaze when his eyes fell upon mine. I didn't really feel like congratulating Roxy anymore. His eyes flicked back to Roxy's.

"Well good job again Roxy, oh and I'll meet you at your locker after school ok?" He sweetly said. They must be dating or something because she flashed him a smile.

"Thanks Ty! And see you after school." She looked at me before she turned away leaving only Tyson to face.

"Well look who it is?" He smirked.

"Yes, it is me, and sorry about the other day..." I slowly faded out as the events slowly came back into my mind.

"It's ok, only if  your hand is fine though. You took a pretty big spill." He said with a lopsided grin. I raised my right hand up, which was covered with numerous band aids haphazardly placed on my whole palm.

"See? All good." I grinned knowing that it looked terrible.

"Yep it looks real good. A real professional job you did there." He laughed and I couldn't help do the same. "I never really got a chance to catch your name."

     "Amy."

     "Amy," he repeated. "Nice name."

"Thanks." I smiled and for once in a long while I felt happy.

I ran to join the group of girls after fourth period.

"He is so annoying though! Always trotting at your feet." Quinn groaned.

"Yeah, and I mean I know you two are close, but he can lay off a little." A girl I think named Sasha added. Roxy just giggled.

"I don't know, it's kinda cute how overprotective he is." She added back.

"Not to mention how cute Tyson actually is! Pshh, I wouldn't mind having that piece of meat around me all the time." Diana laughed, but Roxy just shot her a glare. Yep, they must be dating. Lucky girl...

"Oh, and don't forget about Josh. Damn that boy has the hots for you!" Sadie added and the whole group burst out in giggles.

""Oh Roxy, my dearest Roxy, may I hold your binders for you?"" Tasha mocked and they all burst out into laughter. Even though I didn't know who was Josh -or even what was going on for that matter- it still was pretty funny.

"Atleast he's cute." One of the girls remarked and they all nodded in agreement, except maybe Roxy who was playfully shoving the girl into a bunch of lockers.

"Oh my gosh, Roxy!" Diana stopped in shock.

     "What?"

"We haven't made Amy officially welcome yet!" Diana replied craning her neck to look at me with a huge grin. This time it was Roxy's turn to be in shock.

"It seems we haven't!" Roxy grinned. She grabbed my hand and sprinted ,the whole group following close behind, around the corner into a busy hallway. "Come on!" They ran passed numerous students until they came across a table that stood in the hallway. Roxy and Diana hopped up on the table.

"May we please have your attention!" They screamed. The whole student body froze. These girls definitely weren't shy.

"We have a new student here at Ryerson High." Diana yelled.

"Yep, that's right and she is the wonderful Amy!" Roxy grinned down at me and offered me her hand. My whole face flushed, but I couldn't help laugh. I couldn't believe they did this! It felt nice in a way too though. I was accepted. I took her hand and leaped up on the table with the two girls. Diana grinned at me and I laughed some more. "So we now officially take Amy in as one of our own! She is now officially cool beans!" Roxy shouted and the whole student body clapped, some even hooted. This was amazing! We definitely didn't that where I was from.

"Thank you for your time! And please feel free to welcome Amy "Cool Beans" Dunfrey!" Diana announced. Clapping shook the whole school and I looked into the crowd of smiling faces. All I felt was my face smiling back at them.

I was laying at home on my bed smiling to myself. Today was amazing and it just got a whole lot better! As soon as I got home my mom bombarded me with things about her day, but the only one a cared about was her switching my plan.

"And I also switched your plan plus I got your favorite snacks at the grocery store! Who knew that it-"

"Where's my phone now?" I cut in.

"It's on the table but-" I didn't even let her finish. I ran to the kitchen and grabbed my phone racing back to my room. Now I lay here on my bed examining my phone. It looked the same, but somehow felt different. Maybe because it is the item that will connect me to my old best friends and not to mention Hunter. I carefully pressed the numbers on the keyboard knowing his number off by heart. I pressed call then carefully lifted my phone to my ear. It rang twice before his voice answered.

"Hello?" My heart skipped a beat hearing his voice one last time.

"Hi." Even I could here the smile in my voice.

   "Amy?"

"Hunter?" I mocked in the same astonished tone and we both burst out laughing like the old times.
