"Are you leaving?" Chanhee groaned as he rolled around on his bed, trying to find where Younghoon was in their bedroom.

Younghoon looked at his sleepy boyfriend through the mirror of the vanity and smiled. "In a few minutes," he started happily, excited just to talk to the boy before he had to leave. Walking over to sit on the bed, Younghoon giggled as Chanhee wrapped his arms tightly around his waist, face pressing into his stomach. "You better go back to sleep after I leave—you were up doing homework all night."

"I'll be fine. I'm just sad I won't be able to see my super handsome boyfriend for twelve hours."

"You get to see your parents today," the elder pointed out, "make sure you tell them I said hi and that I'll come over with you next time. But I'm sure your dad doesn't really mind that I'm not there..."'

Rolling over so he could look at Younghoon, Chanhee reached up and grabbed his face, forcing the boy to look down at him. "My dad loves you, Younghoon, yeah when we first started dating he didn't really like you—but now he adores you."

"Yeah yeah..." Younghoon grumbled before he ran his hand over Chanhee's soft hair, "will you give me a kiss before I go?"

"No—I have to go back to sleep."

A small pout formed on Younghoon's lips when he heard Chanhee's words. "Please~I won't be able to focus if you don't kiss me."

"You'll always be a baby, huh Younghoon?"

"Always," he chirped, smiling as Chanhee finally sat up. He leaned forward and pressed their lips together in a quick kiss. Before he could pull away completely, Chanhee wrapped his arms around Younghoon's neck and pulled him back down for another kiss.

When they parted, Chanhee reached across the bed to grab his boyfriends badge from the nightstand. "Don't forget that again," he mumbled before pushing Younghoon off of the bed and towards the door.

There was a smile on Younghoon's lips as he headed toward the door. What would he do without Chanhee? He turned and stood in the doorway for a moment, looking back at the boy already trying to fall back asleep.

"I love you," he called out softly.

"I love you, Younghoon," Chanhee mimicked, his words muffled by the pillow underneath him.

"My Chanhee..." Mr Choi beamed as he opened the front door to see his son.

Chanhee took a step forward and hugged his father. It was the same warm, comforting embrace that he missed so much. Of course he loved living with his boyfriend, however, he'd never stop missing his parents. It just wasn't possible.

"Oh! Is that Chanhee!" He heard his mother yell from somewhere in the house, only a few seconds passing before she joined them in the living room. A wide smile rested on her face at the sight of her son. "How are you honey?" She paused and patted down his sides, "are you eating enough?"

Laughing at her barrage of questions, Chanhee walked over and sat on the couch. "I text you like every day mom—I'm fine. I'm doing the same as I was yesterday."

"I still worry about your brother and he's married."

"It comes with the job," his father broke in.

After letting out a sigh and finding her way towards the chair, she asked, "so how are things with you and Younghoon?"

"There good," Chanhee paused for a moment and added, "I'm still head over heels for that idiot."

His father hummed, "I'm glad you two figured something out—you're a good couple."

"It would make Younghoon so happy if you said that to him instead of me."

"Absolutely not."

"You're too hard on that kid..." Mrs Choi grumbled, "they're happy and you don't need to go trying to ruin it."

"Now that it's just us here...she's starting to drive me crazy," his father mumbled.

"You're just mad that you have to do the chores Chanhee did before he moved out."

"Yes I am. Chanhee should have to come back and do them once a week."

"And he called me crazy..."

The trio spent all afternoon catching up and just spending some time together as a family. Chanhee hated living an hour from his parents, but he also would've hated forcing Younghoon to find a job closer to their home town.

It was actually quite nice to live in a different place. They could start over. And the best part of their new home town was that most people didn't even notice two boys holding hands.

"Will you tell Younghoon he needs to come over soon—I miss him."

Chanhee smiled at his mother, hugging her one last time he left. "I'll make sure to tell him you both miss him," he spoke as he turned to look at his father.

"I will not agree or disagree with that statement," Mr Choi muttered.

Chanhee got home just a few minutes before Younghoon did. The elder didn't say a word as he walked through the front door and headed towards the shower, needing to wash the day away.

When he finished up in the bathroom, their apartment remained silent. Thinking Younghoon must have just been worn out from the day, Chanhee sat on the couch scrolling through his phone. After a few minutes of watching whatever popped up on his Instagram feed, he felt Younghoon climb on the couch next to him, forcing his way past Chanhee's phone and onto his lap.

When Chanhee looked down and saw Younghoon's tear slicked cheeks, he brought his hand up to play with the elder's wet hair and asked, "do you need to talk about something?"

"I just need you to hold me for a minute," Younghoon whispered before laying his down on Chanhee's chest and squeezing his eyes shut.

"Okay, whatever you need," the younger responded, his voice just as soft. Moving his hand to rub up and down Younghoon's back, Chanhee leaned forward and pressed his lips gently to the top of his boyfriend's head.
