The rain came down hard and Jeff only watched as the streets started to become clear due to the fact a lot of people had already found shelter, probably better shelter then him. But his cardboard box that was now soaked was better then nothing even if it didn't really do much. Jeff sat up in the box and put his head down on his crossed arms that rested on his knees. A limousine pulled up infront of the alleyway, Jeff didn't notice since he was lost in his thoughts. The limo door opened and a women stepped out of the car and opened her umbrella to block her from the rain. Jeff could hear a male voice calling out to the women, he ignored it not looking up thinking it was just some people near by. The women got closer to Jeff and held her umbrella over his head.
Jeff paid it no mind at first but luckily the women was very patient and waited till jeff noticed he no longer felt the heavy raindrops hitting him. Jeff lifted his head up wondering why he still heard the rain but didn't feel it. He looked up and seen the umbrella and then he saw..her; the women in white, his vision cleared as he continued to stare at her with awe and wonder like a child in a toy store. The women smiled at Jeff and then spoke. "Quite the weather we're having it, the storm came out of nowhere, good thing I always come prepared." Jeff was speechless, he didn't know what to say he was to busy staring at this beautiful women that stood before him showing him kindness for now reason, he has done nothing to deserve it yet he's given it, and from a women non the less. "Not much of a talker huh? That's fine."
Jeff still said nothing not knowing if this was a trick or not, he looked away and finally spoke "quit the bullshit don't pity me, I don't want it. Go back in your car and go home lady, your waisting your time here." The women tilted her head in curiosity "hmm so the hooded boy does have a voice, raspy but handsome non the less. what's your name?" Jeff sucked his teeth and looked back at the lady in white. "Non of your damn business, besides what's it matter you" the women was about to speak until her driver came up behind her and spoke up "how dare you talk to princess yang like that you thug! You should be more respectful towards her she didn't have to get out of the comfort and warmth and dryness of her car to make you was ok in this harsh weather the least you can do is thank her for her kindness!"
Jeff smirked "you say that yet, in didnt fucking ask for her to do any of that, everything she did was on her own, I didn't tell her to help me out she could have simply continued on home and ignored me like everyone else in this shit hole of a planet so I don't need to thank her for Jack shit" the driver got mad but the women named yang stopped him from saying anything else further. "Would you like to come back to my place for the night and get some clean clothes, maybe some food even?" The driver looked at yang baffled and so did Jeff, both of them didn't like that idea but only one of them disliked the idea more then the other, and that was the driver. "Your kidding right? Don't let strangers in your home miss, he could be a killer for all we know I mean look at the blood on his sweater! I'm sure that's not ketchup" Jeff chimed in "he's right I could be a killer, maybe this is blood on my sweater. Don't think it's smart to let a killer in your home lady"
Yang shrugged "aw well, maybe next time. But I still never got your name" Jeff turned away "figure it out, or are you to dumb to do that?" Yang's driver was ready to fight Jeff for his disrespect towards yang but once again yang stopped him. "Well my name is princess Yang Karma, from the balance dynasty. But you can call me yang" Jeff continued to look away "yea, whatever; yang." Yang smiled and started to walk back to her limousine the driver was happy to finally get away from Jeff until he realized yang didn't get back in the car, instead she grab her bag and opened it. "Your majesty what are you doing?" Yang stood up her purse in hand and a bag of her left over Chinese "he looks hungry" the driver sighed "your to nice for your own good, he doesn't deserve it that man is probably a psychopath who's ready to strike any minute now. Where both lucky he didn't look like he was in the mood to fight. Now let's go before he gains his strength back."
Yang ignored the driver and walked back to Jeff the driver face palming and wondering how two powerful and strict gods gave birth to one of two daughters that just had to be the nice one. Jeff turned to see yang walking back towards him. "Still not satisfied princess? What now?" Yang smiled at Jeff as she placed her bag of food next to him and opened her purse, Jeff looked at yang and the bag confused, he was even more confused when yang gave him a 20 dollar bill. Jeff just stared at it before taking it hesitantly. "Uhh, ok the fuck are you doing? You think this is some kind of charity?! Cause if you do then this isn't fucking funny, I said I don't want your goddamn pity women!" Yang sighed ignoring his behavior "it's the rest of my Chinese food and some cash for you to get something for later, I'm not pitying you, I'm feeling generous and you looked like you needed it, I'll be going now."
Yang walked back to the limousine and got in closing the door, the driver was finally happy to be leaving Jeff behind. As he drove off Jeff looked up at the sky as the rain started to clear up. He shoved the 20 in his pocket and opened the bag, he took out the container and opened it, the food was still fresh and hot. Surprised that it was spiked or looked old he said fuck it and started to eat it, he wasn't sure what it was exactly but everything looked like what he assumed was noodles and shrimp. He ate it all feeling full and energized. He stood up tossing all the garbage to the side and walked out the alleyway, he no longer seen the white limousine that yang was in but he didn't care.
Atleast, he thought he didn't care. As he looked back in the direction the limousine had went he wondered why he kept looking in that direction thinking about that girl if he truly didn't care.
