"So, you enrolled me in Beacon Hills high school, to spy on the kids there?" Aurora voiced to Derek. He was driving Aurora the morning after their sister's death to go to school. She wasn't in the best mood because of it. "What's the point if spying on little kids when I could actually help you."
"You know they're the same age as you, right?" Derek remarked with an overconfident smirk.
"High school students are just as mature as when they were in elementary. Worse, actually," she retorted back, her words making Derek smile.
"Lighten up. I get your mad at me-especially since you graduated school online early and whatnot, but if we going to find the Alpha, we might find information at the school." Derek explained, which made sense to the redhead. Even if she would never admit it. "The killer could have been living her for a while, and if I remember correctly, high schooler are the biggest gossips. And as a plus, you will be safe in a building with tons of people."
"And what if a teenager is the one responsible for taking our sister's life? ...What if they know who I am and try to kill me? And I'm not that proficient in conducting or even manipulating electricity—what I'm trying to say is your plan has lots of holes. Literally the worst plan I'll ever hear and it will come back to bite us in the arse eventually," Aurora justified, crossing her arms and looking at Derek, who sighs.
"Well—just be careful, you're smart and sneaky. And you're talented with your wolf abilities, use them instead. You don't need to shock anyone when you can rip them apart with your claws," Derek tried to make a joke but she didn't laugh.
"Fine. I'll be your 'eyes on the inside'," Aurora reluctantly agreed. It was for her sister. She wanted answers, needed revenge. And she was going to get it. For her and her brother.

Aurora and Derek decided it was better if she was dropped off farther from the actual school, making sure they weren't spotted together. The plan worked better if Aurora wasn't seen associated with the Hale. People would remember Derek, it was Aurora that people didn't know existed, given as her adoption to the Hale family was a lesser known fact.
