After the Giga Flower incident, Dr. Worm lamented his loss, and thus began to concoct other plans to siphon out Minus Energy. However, one of his colleagues, Baron Bloody, who recently arrived in the Land of Darkness, had other plans. Said plan was to make the Tsukaima stronger by splicing their powers with that of the Grimm. However, it could take a significant amount of time to be perfected.

Hearing all of this, Cinder wanted to deal with the Madan Warriors herself, but not before she was confronted by Emerald, wondering what's going on and what her plan was. After she finds out, she was confused.

"Why would you take on them head-on?", asked Emerald.

"Just to buy Baron Bloody some time.", replied Cinder. "Well, that and I wanted to claim the Winter Maiden powers for myself."

This inspired some hesitation within Emerald, as her allies were essentially siding with demons with ulterior motives.

Meanwhile, despite what happened earlier at SHOT HQ, Robyn wanted to talk to Hikaru, but she encountered Winter instead, and since she was willing to talk to her, they both talked about Hikaru and his supposed aloof behavior.

"Why did he act so differently when he saw Liz?", asked Winter. "It almost felt like he was a completely different person."

"Hikaru and Liz are actually good friends, Winter.", answered Robyn. "Mostly because they knew each other since they were kids."

"To be honest, I didn't know that."

"I guess that's because Hikaru never told you about it. Don't worry, you'll get to know him better."

"I guess. But I never got to understand him all that much..."

After their heart-to-heart, they were interrupted by Ciel, who called for Winter. "I hate to interrupt your moment, but the General needs you." Upon this news, Winter had to leave, but she tells Robyn that she'll talk to Hikaru later. Once she arrived in Ironwood's office, she began to wonder why she was called here.

"Sir, what is it that you want from me?" Winter asked.

"I want you to be on active duty, Winter. This is just in case the Jamanga sends their troops to attack Atlas."

"Will do, sir."

Meanwhile, Hikaru and Liz, after some time, were able to create the Dust Keys, which are Madan Keys capable of harnessing the power of Dust without the risk of depletion. The first Dust Key to be tested was the Gravity Key, allowing the user to create platforms using gravity.

While all of this was going on, Dr. Worm ultimately decided to attack Mantle, necessitating Robyn to go there, as the rest of the Happy Huntresses were stationed there as well. As a result, she ended up calling Hikaru though his scroll.

"Mom, what's going on?", answered Hikaru.

"Mantle is under attack, and your aunts could be in danger!", remarked Robyn. "We need to get there, now!"

"Don't worry, mom, I'm coming."

Before Hikaru heads out, Liz gives him his Portal Key, which allows him to fast travel to other places. This allowed him to travel to Mantle before Robyn could even get there. Afterwards, Hikaru met up with the rest of the Happy Huntresses, being delighted to see them after so long.

"Hey, Hikaru. It's been a while.", greets May Marigold, who is probably the closest of the three to Hikaru. "Where's Robyn?"

"She's on her way, Aunt May.", Hikaru replied.
