The following day
Ava looked at Rich's contact as she tried to gain the courage to call him she needed a ride to work & he was her only hope
Taking a deep breath ava pressed the call button as she put the phone on speaker
It rung about 3 times before rich picked up the phone
" hello " hearing his deep voice did something to ava be she straightened up & cleared her throat before speaking
" uh yes hi rich I was wondering are you available to pick me up for work I don't have a ride & im supposed to come in , in about a hour " Ava said as she checked the time seeing it was almost 7
" I don't mind youngin I'll be there in bout 30 mins " rich spoke into the phone

Hanging up the phone ava put on a pair of black tights & a white spaghetti strap tshirt she didn't wear anything special seeing that the bartenders were getting new uniforms
30 mins later
Ava's phone chimed indicating that she had a text

Ava grabbed her purse making sure her charger , AirPods , lipgloss & perfume were in there before she walked outside of her apartment door locking it & putting her house key into her purse walking towards the black Escalade that parked in front of her apartment
" how you doing youngin " rich asked as she got into the car putting on her seatbelt

Ava only nodded she didn't know what else to say after that they sat in a comfortable silence as they made their way towards the club which was about a 15 min drive from ava's house
" thanks for picking me up " ava said as she unbuckled her seatbelt & grabbed her purse opening the door sliding out of his truck
Peaches who was just getting in saw ava exiting Rich's truck getting ready to be messy & tell Monica
" I'm sorry I couldn't pick you up but I can still drop you off " Melissa said as ava approached her
Ava scanned over her body as she realized the uniform consisted of black tights & a black short sleeved crop top with the clubs name on the front & back
" it's okay rich picked me up & I like the new uniform " ava said as she changed the subject

Ava laughed & gave her a look

Ava followed rich to his office as she bumped into Monica who was coming out of the girls locker room
