There's a celebration.
A celebration for the children who have finally chosen their birthdate.
It's also a celebration to commemorate the days where they all first met.
Yes.
The day that On and Hong chooses is the day where they first met Cale at the Man-Eating tree while Raon chooses the day that he was saved out of the cave where he suffered 4 years of torture.
The three decided to make the day where they first met their Guardian as the day of their supposedly day of birth.
It's alright though, for them to choose when they'll celebrate it, their Guardian reassured them that it's okay since they really don't remember the day they were born.
It's their choice.
And it's okay.
Okay that they don't know the day they were born.
Okay because Cale Henituse declared that it was okay to not remember.
So they chose the day they met their savior as the day of their day of birth.
Because that day is the beginning of their life, a life that is not just purely about surviving, a life of hope, love, happiness and so, so much more.
That day is the day where they were given a chance for new life...
The birth of their bright future, the birth of a new happy children, the birth of their beginning, their history, their story, their everything.
That day is the day that the world stopped moving too agonizingly slow nor overwhelmingly fast, the day that they stopped worrying about the future and drowning in the past, the day that they stopped the fight against the world that thought that they were old enough to become soldiers that has to be responsible for their own lives and the day that they figured out how to finally breathe out of their shackles, figuratively and literally.
That day is the day that they begin living in the present because the future is no longer bleak and frightening, the day where they gained family that teaches them new things every single day, the wonderful day where they gained the freedom to be a child, a child that doesn't have to be an adult in their own life.
That day is special.
Special enough to warrant a grand celebration.
And so they did.
They then started their own story on how their life changes for the better.
Unsurprisingly, their turning point is the man that planned said celebration for his wards.
They told everyone about their story.
Of hoping for a change against the rapidly moving time.
Of dying flames reignited by the scorching passion and fire.
Of salvation after suffering drought.
Of protection against the tides.
Of wisdoms and guidance willingly given.
Of support when they need it the most.
Of a pillar that calms them when everything seems so impossible.
Of relief of finally being free from judgment and prejudices and bias.
Of a soul that they can rely on when it feels like everything is crumbling and falling.
Everyone told their own story.
A story that began the day they all met the red head and the beautiful soul it contains.
