The next day which happened to be a Wednesday, I had homeroom and then History after. I ran to my locker to get the things I'm gonna need for the next three classes before lunch. I walked with my head down, not expecting to bump into anyone and not exactly wanting to meet anyone.

I kept my head down most of the time until I decided to take a peek at the direction I'm heading in, to scan the halls, I was usually really early. Wrong timing because the moment I looked up I saw someone standing by my locker and it just happened that the moment I chose to look up was the same time she locked eyes with me.

"Oh what now?" I growled, mostly to myself. "What does she want?... so early" I walked towards my locker. I did debate turning around, taking out my cell phone and talking earnestly as though I never saw her... but that would make me look wimpy since she knows I saw her. I even debated walking to my locker but walking right past it when I get there but... that would make me look stupid and I won't give her that satisfaction.

I put on my best poker face and walked towards Blondie, oh sorry, Cassidy. I kept eye contact the whole time, wouldn't want her to think I was scared off her. When I was a foot away, she took a few steps towards me, I guess that indicated where our whatever will take place.

I stopped and gave her a questioning look, folding my arms in front of my chest, I was really not in the mood for her BS. She took another step closer, totally crowding my personal space. I raised an eyebrow when she still said nothing.

"Hey Tori... right?" finally, she speaks. "Yeah, Tori. Can I help you with something?" she takes a breath, I can tell she's mad so I encourage her to speak, trust me I still don't like her. "Can you please make it quick, I have homeroom in a few minutes" I spoke checking my wrist watch.

She flicks her blonde hair dramatically before drawing a huge gulp of air. Her green eyes glowing with envy and hatred. Didn't surprise me though because really the feeling was mutual. "Okay Tori, I'm gonna say this and I'm only gonna say it once" she pauses making sure I got every word in first.

"Stay. Away. From. Ty" she said it slowly to give a theatrical, dramatic meaning. I took a second to figure out who 'Ty' is. After thinking about it thoroughly, I figured I know no one named Ty.

I raised my eyebrow at her and asked, "who the hell is Ty?" She shook her head and then sighed.

"Tyler you idiot" she told me, calling me an idiot kind of made me mad. I didn't care what else she said, nobody insults me like that.

"Okay look, first of all, I don't care about you or Ty for that matter so you don't need to worry about me and honestly I couldn't care less about who he talks to" I paused, "even if he talks to you" I heard her give an irritated sigh which made me smile.

I side stepped her to get to my locker when I turned around to give her one last comment, "by the way, I'm not staying away from Tyler because you said so but because I simply don't like him... he's too... childish for me. So you can relax, your crush is not going anywhere anytime soon" she huffed and walked off, so angry that she hit one of the lockers with her fist without wincing, the owner of the locker said nothing, everyone is afraid of her.

As she walked off, I felt better about today... maybe the whole day won't be so bad after all. I felt ready to face anything, little did I know what I had ahead.

I dragged my feet as I walked into homeroom class, Mrs Jefferson was already at her desk, looking at me with expectant eyes. Does she seriously expect me to apologize for being late? ...coz I'm not really late I have a minute or two before the bell rings.

Sighing I looked at her and apologized, "sorry I'm late ma'am" she nodded with a stiff smile on her face. I scurried off to my seat and saw Sarah who smiled at me, I smiled back and looked back to the front of the class.

This is going to be a long day.

Classes rolled by faster than expected and before I knew it it was lunch time, relief washed through me. I walked to the cafeteria and immediately saw Sarah. Walking over to her with a smile on my face, she looked at, me and gave a small smile and a wave.

Suddenly panic crossed her face, I gave her questioning look and she looked to my right, I looked to my right and I knew my day won't be as good as I'd thought. I sighed loudly irritated when Ty approached me with a wide grin on his face.

From the corner of my eye I see blondie staring at me, with the hope that her eyes could actually burn holes in my head.

"Hey Tor" he said with a wide smile, a cute smile. If I had the time, I would've been flattered that the hottest guy in school wants to talk to me. But right now I have way too many problems to have to want to add blondie to them.

"Hey" I say as I start walking faster hoping to lose him somewhere. Unfortunately for me, I'm not fast enough.

"So where are you going?" seriously? is he blind? I give him my coldest glare and answered through gritted teeth.

"To get lunch. Now can you please go away... I think your friend's waiting for you" a look of hurt crossed his face for a second before he quickly masked it. He nods goodbye and walks off, leaving me feeling all guilty about being rude.

I finally reach where Sarah is and she gives me a sad smile as if understanding that I do not want to talk about what just happened.
