Chapter 28: Whats the Gender

It was a couple weeks later and I was starting to show. "Love?" I said getting Bucky's attention. "Yes?" He asked. "I'm getting fatter." I said walking out tightening the shirt around my stomach. "No you're not love. The baby's getting bigger." He said kissing my cheek. "We have a doctors appointment. Maybe we can figure out the gender!" Bucky said excited. "Maybe we can love." I said hugging him. "How far along are you?" He asked. "Uhh around 4ish months I think." I said. He smiled. "Drink something because you know you have to pee and then let's go." He said.

After I drank a lot we left. By drank I meant water. "You ready?" He asked me. "No...not really. But I will be." I said with a smile. We went into the hospital and I got checked in and we were waiting. I was looking around and seeing the pregnant women and the babies that were already born. "Magnolia Barnes?" A nurse asked. We got up and walked over to her. "You know the drill." She said handing me a cup.

After I did that I went into the room. She asked me questions and then she told us that the doctor will be in shortly. After waiting for about 30ish minutes the doctor came in. "Good morning Mrs. Barnes." She said. "Same to you." I said with a smile. "You ready to find out the gender and make sure your baby's ok?" She asked. "I'm positive." I said with a smile. "How about you Mr. Barnes?" She asked. "I'm really excited." He said with the biggest smile.

She made sure the baby had a heart beat first which the baby did. Then she was searching for the gender. "So. What do you want it to be?" The doctor asked. "Boy." "Girl."e and Bucky said at the same time. "Normally the mom wants a girl." The doctor said surprised I said boy. "Well congratulations guys! You're baby is a girl!" The doctor said smiling at Bucky. "Yes!" Bucky said excited. "We're gonna have a girl!" Bucky also said kissing me. "We're gonna have a girl!" I said kissing him back.

We got some photos of our daughter and went home. I put the photos on the fridge. "We should tell your family." Bucky said. "You're right." I said. Then I had a group phone call with all of my family members. Aunt May, Peter, Steve, Sam, and MJ. "So as you guys know me and Bucky are expecting a baby." Some of them were suprised. I can't remember if I told them or not. "And we're having a girl!" Bucky said literally jumping up and down and clapping his hands fast. "Oh my god!" Peter yelled. "Congrats guys!" Steve and Sam said at the same time. "Oh I'm gonna spoil the shit out of her." MJ said with a huge smile. "Oh my fucking god! Do you hear this Happy!? I'm gonna be a great aunt!" Aunt May said so happy. "I can't wait to have a mini Maggie around." Bucky said hugging me. Then Tank came up and jumped on me. "Aww Tank! There's gonna be a baby here in about 5 months!" I said petting him. "Awww she's gonna be an April baby!?" Peter said excited.

Me and Bucky just smiled. "We have to go but I just wanted to share the news!" I said hanging up. "Bye Love you!" They all said. Then I hung up. Bucky looked so fucking happy.

"Love I'm so excited!" Bucky said dropping to his knees kissing my stomach.

"As am I love. I've never been so happy. But when she's born we're gonna have to stop cussing as much. Especially when she's a toddler." I warned him. He looked at me like I was the craziest person in the world. "What?" I asked.

"It's nothing. You're right we should stop." He said kissing my stomach again. He was so sweet. Ugh I fucking love this dude. Inside and out.

"So should we start thinking about baby names?" Bucky asked standing up. I smiled at him.

"I was thinking sticking with the flower theme. Like Violet, or Rose." I said smiling.

"Rosemary?" Bucky asked. I smiled at him.

"Rosemary Jane Barnes? I don't know Buck that sounds weird." I said with an uneasy face.

"I was t saying her middle name has to be Jane. It would be Rose space Mary space Barnes." He said putting it together.

"Ohhh I'm so stupid." I said laughing. "No. You're just unique." He said with a smile.

He kissed my cheek and then he kissed my forehead. Resting his forehead on mine. He grabbed my hand and put the other one around my waist and we started dancing. Slow dancing to be exact. "What are you doing?" I asked him as we swayed back and forth. "Can I not dance with my wife?" He said as he twirled me around putting me in a dip and kissing me. "I enjoy this a lot." I said with a cheeky grin. Then he spun me around again and I started to laugh. "Baby there's no music." I said in a whisper as we got closer again. "Who said we needed misic?" He asked. Then the door bell rang and Tank started barking making me jump out of the spell Bucky put me in.

Bucky walked to the door he opened it and saw police officers. "Magnolia Barnes you're under arrest for assaulting Sharon Carter." They said coming in with hand cuffs. "What the fuck!?" I yelled. "Wait. Please. Sharon started it first. We have security proof. She's pregnant." Bucky said in a calm voice with lowered eyebrows. "Show me." The officers said at the same time.
