OCTOBER 30, 2022

It has been 44 years since the Halloween killer, Michelle Myers, has been spotted. Her actions in the past had struck fear into the community. As her sudden disappearance became a mystery, the reasons why the woman began her spree had grown into a much bigger question.

With some of the residents not wanting to believe that these kinds of events could just happen to anyone, the town had spread their own theories. One theory painted Michelle as someone who was provoked and took her anger out on those who did so. A more popular theory, which spawned its own movie franchise, was that Michelle and Laurie Strode were believed to actually be biological siblings, and Michelle made it her personal mission to kill off her entire family tree.

As months turned to years, and years to decades, the "Halloween Killer" or the "Babysitter Murderer" would soon become a Halloween legend.

Now, on Hallow's Eve, a nearly empty bus can be seen driving on a road through Livingston County in Illinois in the afternoon sun.

Inside the bus is a fully grown Y/n L/n, who sits in the back, tired, staring out of a window and looking at the passing scenery of multicolored trees. His mind was filled with the thought of coming back to his hometown.

Though he was a bit nervous, knowing he only had so much money on him and desperately needed a job, he was quite thrilled to revisit his old childhood home in Haddonfield after moving away so long ago.

However, unfortunately, an update on the residence informed Y/n a few days ago that a happily married couple have been and are still living inside the home for quite some time.

After a while of searching through the internet, he discovered an old house on 45 Lampkin Lane was currently available, renovated and presentable for any future occupant. Y/n hesitated at first, knowing the address all too well as it never left his memory. Y/n ultimately accepted, purchasing the surprisingly cheap house.

As Y/n was deep in his thoughts, the bus pulled up to a bus depot and the driver got his attention.

Driver: Alright, sir! Here's your stop.

Y/n nods, standing up from his seat and picking up a large duffel bag, making his way to the front and exiting the bus.

Y/n: Thanks for the ride.

Driver: It's my job. Have a good one. And happy Halloween.

Y/n: Yeah. Same to you.

Y/n throws his bag over his shoulder, inserting a hand into his pocket and starts walking, following the main street of Haddonfield.

Sometime later, Y/n arrives on Lampkin Lane. But his pace slows down a bit with each step he takes, until he stops when he reaches the old Myers' House and his new home.

He inhales then exhales

He inhales then exhales.

Y/n: I still can't believe it's been so long…

While uneasy and hesitant, after walking up to the porch, he attempts to open the door but fails.
