                                                                                 Midoriya POV

My name is Izuku Midoriya and I am a witch. No one knows this. I'm in a coven with my friends Ochaco, Iida, and Kachaan. My familiar is a shifter. His name is Tokoyami he can shift into a bird but when he shifts into his human form he still has a bird head. I'd have to use magic to give him a human head and face. I run a small cafe and library called Book Valley. Tokoyami shifts into his bird form when the shop is open. Halloween is just around the corner and I've already got my costume together and Tokoyami is helping me decorate. We have spider webs and orange and purple lights to decorate. This is about to be really fun and exciting. Kachaan is being nicer and coming for Halloween to celebrate with me and the rest of our coven.

That night Midoriya and Tokyami decorated. Midoriya often got caught in the fake webbing.  They laughed through the night before the great spooky holiday. After the whole cafe had been decorated both Midoriya and Tokoyamiwere exhausted. The store may be little but there is still a lot of space to cover. When Midoriya decorates he doesn't hold back. They both collapsed onto a sofa. Midoriya sighed and then went straight to sleep. Tokoyami laughed at him shifted into his bird form and fell asleep.

                                                                                 Tokoyami POV

I woke up before Midoriya did so I started some things in the kitchen. He always prepped anything he had to bake knowing that he'd sleep in. I put the cookies and croissants in the oven and went upstairs. He told me I couldn't know what his costume was so I just pulled out the garment bag that held it. I went back downstairs to wake him.

"Midoriya, you have to get up. We open in 45 minutes and, we still have to put up the decor in front."

"Yamiiiii"

He dragged out the 'i' as he turned on his side covering his face with the blanket. I laughed a little and shook him.

"Wait did you just say 45 minutes?"

He shot up frantically. I grab him by the shoulders.

He was mumbling a mile a minute."Hey, I've got everything started already. I put the breakfast items in the oven and your costume is on your bed."

"Wait di-"

I cut him off quickly. Trying to make sure he doesn't worry.

"No, I did not look at it. Your costume is still in the garment bag."

He sighed and then looked back at me. Smiling so hard his eyes closed. I thought it was adorable. I love seeing his smile. It brightens any room and lightens any mood.

"Thank you for getting all this sorted out for me."

"You're welcome, now go and get ready. We only have..." I looked at the clock on the wall. "35 minutes left." He zipped going towards the stairs but before he got all the way up them he looked back.

"Thank you again, Yami."

Flashing a small smile before going into his room, grabbing his costume, and going to the bathroom. I sit on the couch throwing my head back and laughing. He has so much energy for just waking up. Sitting up quickly I go to the cart of the returned books. Busying myself with putting them away in their correct spots. I loved the ambiance on quiet mornings like this. No hustle and bustle. Just the smell of coffee brewing and the smell of pages mixing heavenly. Quietly humming 'Honesty' by Pink Sweat$. Soon enough I hear the small padding of feet coming down the stairs. I lean outside of the aisle of books to see Midoriya in a little witch costume. He wore a deep green button-up tucked into a pair of black dress pants with a single white stripe on the sides of them and black cuffs on the bottoms. He also wore a pair of slightly heeled black boots with a black cape and a stereotypical witch hat. He carried a little broom with him and posed in the middle of the room. I leaned on the side of the bookshelf watching him pose and spin until he sees me. He stops right in his tracks blushing. It doesn't take long for him to start laughing. Which makes me smile. He runs up towards me looking up at me. He tilts his head and smiles.

"Do you like my costume?"

"Yes. It's very cute."

He smiles even harder. This makes me feel happy. Seeing him smile and being content with the life he leads.

"Alright we've got to open right..."

He elongates the word until the clock ticked 7:45

"Now."

He flips over the sign on the door quickly and gets behind the counter. I quickly phase into my raven form of resting on a bookshelf where I can observe. Now Halloween can begin.
