Chapter 2

Soon, the second-half of the school period started. However, no teachers entered the class. Later, it turned out that the teacher had a meeting. Hamid was ecstatic to hear the news and continued to finish his history assignment. Hours later, no teachers have stepped into class. Hamid has finished all of his homework and decided to tidy up his locker. His locker was the most top locker since he was very tall. Whilst tidying, he accidentally dropped a textbook which landed on Azmir's head beside him. "Sorry! Are you hurt?" Hamid immediately apologised. "Ow, I'm fine. It didn't hurt that bad..." Azmir reassured Hamid. "It's fine anyway, I've been hit in the head many times by Luqman for being a dumb#ss" Azmir added.

Hamid who heard this was trying so hard to hold back his laughter. Hamid quickly went back to his seat and studied biology since he was rather pretty weak at the subject. A couple hours passed and it was 1.20 pm. He decided to return to Aspura 10 minutes early that afternoon. Hamid packed his stuff and walked to Aspura alone. Surprisingly, there was literally no one in Aspura, so he felt calmer since he'd like some peace and quiet for a try. When he got to his dorm, he placed his bag beside his bed and laid down on his bed. However, Hamid felt very bored at the time and felt the need to do something.

Meanwhile, Azmir was waiting for Luqman at the canteen since Luqman's class was held at the seminar room nearby. As soon as Luqman stepped out the seminar room, Azmir stood up and fast walked to him. "Woah, you waited for me?" Luqman asked Azmir. "Yea, I down't wanna bwe lonely," Azmir teased Luqman. Yet, the only response was a hit in the head with a pencil box. "ACK" Azmir spatted out. They both laughed it off, walked and happily chatted together as they head to Aspura.

Luqman wanted to go to the dining hall for tea time but Azmir didn't feel like eating, so Luqman just told Azmir to go ahead first. So, Azmir waved to Luqman before entering Aspura. As he was about to arrive at his dorm, he heard a husky, melodious voice from a far. Azmir being a band kid was both mesmerised and surprised to hear the beautiful singing. Though, when he got closer to the source of the singing, he soon realised it was k-pop. Azmir went from fascinated to confused really quick. When he finally found the source of the sound, his jaw dropped to see the person who wan singing was no other than Hamid. Azmir quietly peeked through the small opening of the dorm door.

"Hey! Whatcha doin here?" Luqman appeared out of the blue. Hamid rapidly turned towards the door, standing statically in shock. Azmir's eyes widened almost panicked. Luqman hasn't realised the whole situation yet. Hamid got to his senses and sprinted at the door. Azmir fell backwards causing Luqman to fall down as well. Hamid saw both of them on the concrete floor practically in fear at the moment. Hamid without thinking twice pulled both of them by their arms into his dorm. All of them three, standing awkwardly and silently, just glancing back and forth at eachother.

"Alright, I know what you saw, just swear you won't tell anyone about it, please?" Hamid suddenly voiced out. Azmir was still too stunned to speak while Luqman nodded. Suddenly, two other students appeared at the door. "Eh? Whatcha all doin here?" One of the students spoke. "Oh, uh we were just here to see Hamid. I wanted to ask for the past assignments that I missed when I was at band practice. I asked Luqman to accompany me." Azmir covered the situation. "Oh, okay. Have fun I guess" Said the second student as the two leave the place. Azmir turned to Hamid and gave him a genuine smile along with a thumbs up.

Hamid was moved by his actions, never thought of a person that'll cover up something that has only happened moments ago, let alone someone that barely talked to him. "No worries, I'm ahead of you in terms of homework," Azmir added as he patted Hamid's shoulder. Hamid could only look at him in silence. Azmir and Luqman left, Hamid suddenly felt weak. He just felt a ray of emotions. He laid down on the bed, contemplating on what just happened. "Everything just came at me all at once..." Hamid murmured to himself. He quietly looked around with vacancy, everything was a blur. It felt like his life was suddenly changing.
