The photos of Callaghan and Tadashi stood side by side, surrounded by pink flowers and candles people had placed around them.

Y/N was blank faced as she stood before it with Hiro who was teary eyed. It didn't feel real.

It was raining at the time of The funeral, everyone holding up blank umbrellas to not become drenched from the rain.

The cafe was closed for a little while for the memorial. Honey lemon brought Cass a cup of tea as they all grieved for Tadashi. Y/N parents were down there as well.

Y/N sat at the top of the stairs beside Hiro, where he laid his head on her shoulder glumly.
She had an arm wrapped around his back, in an attempt to soothe him.

But after awhile Hiro got up and left to his room.    Y/N didn't follow as she thought he wanted to be alone.

She had also never dealt with a close friend losing a loved one. So she wasn't sure if she should of followed or not. She hoped she wasn't hurting Hiro by not following him.

Y/N felt to shy to walk back downstairs to join the others. But after awhile of thinking back and forth she swallowed her anxiety and went down anyway.

She shook her head and shrugged sadly when Cass had asked about Hiro.

A few weeks later
————

It was weird how the world still continued for everyone else, others still laughed, worked and went about their day like normal. Others were happy.

While Hiro's was still dull and everything seemed pointless.

Y/N had been thinking about that a lot lately, that everyone had their own lives and it wasn't falling apart like hers and others around her.

She had made a hot chocolate for Hiro and was now walking to the Cafe to see him.

She felt odd. reality didn't feel real, she couldn't wrap her head the fact that Tadashi was gone. She pretended that he was on a long holiday, it helped a little.

Before she knew it, she was standing in front of the cafe, stepping through and was immediately greeted by Cass.

"Please bring him down" Cass sighed, wiping her hands on her napkin. "He hadn't left his room   since-"

"I'll try" Y/N pressed her lips together sadly before making her way up the stairs.

She softly knocked on his bedroom door, allowing herself in.

"Hey" She smiled stepping into the room. "I made you this, I didn't think I'd actually miss you storming into the cafe and demanding a hot chocolate" she lightly laughed, Hiro barely returned it.

"Hey Y/N"

She placed the hot chocolate on his desk, her smile faltering when she saw his last nights dinner untouched.

"When have you last eaten?" She asked in concern, grabbing his plate.

At the same time Cass had walked up, a plate of breakfast for Hiro in his hand.

Y/N shared a look with Cass, frowing as she looked down at the untouched plate and back up to Cass.

Cass smiled sadly, taking the plate from Y/N after she placed Hiros breakfast down.

"Mrs. Matsuda's in the cafe. She's wearing something super inappropriate for an 80-year-old" Cass attempted with a small chuckle.
"That always cracks you guys up..."

Y/N smiled. "I saw that" she laughed. "I aspire to be like that when I'm old" she glanced at Hiro as Cass hummed.

"Oh! The university called again" Cass stated, pulling up the blinds. "It's been a few weeks since classes started. But they said it's not too late to register" she leaned the envelope up against a black box sitting on his desk.
