Big hero 7 - smart yet so dumb (Hiro x Reader)

7. Lurking

I've procrastinated, I have so much work to do and idk where to start.

Upon hearing the bell of the cafe, indicating that someone had left or entered, Hiro looked up from his Robot to behind him.
"Y/N? Baymax?"

He turned around fully and out his chair. Walking around his room.

"Y/N?!"
He looked over to Tadashi's side.
"Baymax?!"

Until he heard a car skid from outside, Hiros eyes widened as he stood frozen on the spot.

He opened his window, spotting baymax walking across the streets, Y/N pulling him away as he almost got hit by a car.

"What!" He shrieked, pulling on his shoes and quickly throwing on his jacket to run downstairs.

He ran for the door, but stopped as Cass was in front.
"Hiro?"

"Hey aunt Cass" Hiro waved, looking behind her anxiously.

"Your actually up! I know Y/N said you were coming down but-"

"Yeah! I figured it was time" Hiro cut her off, looking behind her to see Baymax and Y/N start down a street.

"Are you registering for school?"

"Uh... Yes! I Thought about what you said, really inspired me" he grinned, walking around Cass to the door, reaching for the handle blindly.

"Oh honey that's so great!" Cass gushed, bringing Hiro in for a hug.

"Uh huh" Hiro nodded, glancing back to the door.

"Okay!" She pulled away, hands still on his shoulders.
"Special dinner tonight! I'll whip up some chicken wings-"

"Yeah!"

"Y'know with the hot sauce, makes our faces numb" Cass explained, she made a weird noise with a face as she shook her hands around to fan her face, pretending to melt.

"Okay sounds good!" Hiro laughed, looking between the door as Cass.

"Great! Last hug!" she hummed, pulling in Hiro again and squeezing.

Once she walked off, enough so that Hiro was satisfied she wouldn't turn back around, he wasted no time opening the door and bolting out of the cafe after Y/N and Baymax.

Hiro ran down the same street they did, calling after them.

Y/N cringed, pushing Baymax from behind as some guy on a mope narrowly dodged then and a truck slamming the break just before.

"Baymax! Stop!" Y/N scolded embarrassedly, waving to the truck driver in an apology.

"Guys!" Hiro yelled, continuing down the street, pushing past anyone walking in his way.

He quickly crossed a street, panting as he looked around frantically.

Baymax didn't look up from the robot at all as Y/N stood beside him.

She spotted Hiro across from the vehicle they were on, calling out to him.
"Hiro!"

Hiro turned around to the sound of his name, gasping in shock as he ran after, a car honked at him before he was trapped from a school of cyclists driving by.

He chased after the tram, jumping on it when it stopped but Baymax nor Y/N were anywhere to be seen.

He panicked stressfully, jumping off and running up some stairs into a crowded market.

Baymax and Y/N were on the other end.
