3RD PERSON POV:

Black eyes crack open slightly in the dark, giving almost no visibility, however, the man of whom the eyes belong to looks around in a graceful manner as if he could see everything.
The man rises from his bamboo bed with incredible grace, something that did not quite match with his current appearance of someone who just woke up.

He walked over to the vanity situated in the corner of the room and brought a hand up to the mirror in front of him, touching his own reflection. He whispered three words incredibly softly "...I'm really back..." his voice sounded so fragilely hopeful, like it would break with a singular flick.

That man was Shen Qingqiu.

Shen Qingqiu walked out of the room, his appearance unblemished as always, with his standard robes on, and his paper fan in hand. His feet made no sound when he placed them on the floor, in stark contrast to his previously favorite disciple who was walking next to him. His eyes however were not trained on where he was going or the disciple next to him, but instead on the text of the floating opaque blue hologram in front of him.

Shen Qingqiu tore his eyes off of the interface in front of him and looked down at Ning Yingying who was walking next to him.
"Ning Yingying, place your feet more gently, you could wake up the whole peak with how loud your steps are" Shen Qingqiu's voice was soft and melodic, but it had an underlaying tone of ice to it.
Ning Yingying was taken aback, usually her Shizun would talk softly to her, only sometimes sternly when she did something very wrong, but he would never be this cold towards her, making her incredibly surprised.
"Sorry Shizun..." she could only apologize dejectedly and correct her footing, still completely baffled at her Shizun's tone of voice towards her.

"Also, go inform Ming Fan to meet me in my office at noon, after that, practice the song I gave you, I would like to hear it played properly in two days time" Shen Qingqiu's voice was warmer this time, as he reminded himself that he wasn't talking to the Ning Yingying who had spouted ridiculous lies about him trying to force himself on her just to make his punishment worse, but instead his young disciple who has has to protect.

Thinking that her Shizun was only temporarily annoyed at her and it has dispersed by now, she smiled and replied enthusiastically in her usual bubbly voice "Of course Shizun!"
