I cannot believe that little piece of trash is getting what I deserve. Do you even know how long I've been after Sollux??? I bet not. You couldn't even think back to our first canon moment. There was a lot of tension involving that virus! Eridan always gets what he wants. He's just a pissbaby and likes seeing people upset because they didn't get what they wanted.
I'll show them. I'll show them both... Wait. The mind honey...but wait I'm not trying to hurt Sollux I just wanna win him over. I know what I'll do! I'll convince Eridan to put mind honey in something he cooks for Sollux causing Sollux to leave him!!!!
