"Mom, why are we doing this?" I whined like a little girl.

"I told you already Fay, we need more space, which means a bigger house."

She was all over the place, shifting from one box to another.

Most people would hate to move, I wouldn't. The only reason I'm complaining is because we're literally moving three streets down. I mean, if we're going to move, it should be much further than that, is all I'm saying.

"Suck it up, it's not like you had any friends on this street, oh wait do you even have friends?" My brother, Troy, joked.

I don't even bother responding sometimes, but he is right. I'm definitely not popular, I have friends just not as many as him. Troy was a pretty talkative guy and not in an annoying way, he just isn't afraid to state what he thinks. To add onto that, he has black shaggy hair that fell right above his green almost grey eyes, and light spots of freckles across his nose. Girls found this attractive, not to mention he's freakishly tall and skinny with SOME muscle but hardly, he'll brag about it all the time, which annoyed me.

Me on the other hand, lets just say we didn't look related. My dark, straight, brunette hair fell right at my ribs. My hazel eyes did not sparkle like troys', and I definitely didn't have any "cute" freckles. I wasn't even as tall as Troy, even though he's two years older.

It was Sunday, and tomorrow was going to be a terrifying Monday, since its going to be the first day back after summer break. I was going into the 11th year which blew my mind. Troy on the other could get all the popularity and girls he desires but that wouldn't help his grades, hence the reason he is coming back for grade 13.

"Lets just get everything in the car and to the new house." My mom exhaustingly exhales.

"Might as well walk." I sarcastically comment.

"Be my guest." My mom comebacks.

I decided to keep my mouth shut.

Bringing box after box inside our new place was tiring.

"One more box, Fay , go get it." Troy orders.

"Why don't you?" I glared.

"I'm helping mom unpack, just do it."

I breathed out loudly. "Fine."

As I'm walking to the trunk of the car I hear a door slam, I quickly turned around to see a boy standing out on his porch.

"Sup babe" he calls.

I hover my hand above my eyes to block out the sun, he had dirty blonde hair, and if I may say so a nice summer tan. Took me a second but idealized who he was. Tanner.

I ignored his greet and kept walking.

I struggled holding onto the box but I soon got a good grip on it.

"Don't be like that." He ran over.

He watched me carry the box and didn't bother to help, not like I'd let him anyway.

"So where ya from?" He asked.

I rolled my eyes at him, and he definitely noticed.

"What? You don't speak or something?" He rudely comments.

"Wow, it's so shocking that after all this time you wouldn't know who I am." I finally spoke.

He looked puzzled.

"Fay." I answered. "Geography and math in grade 9? Math, English and science just last year, or maybe like two months ago."

"Right...." He replied

It was obvious he still had no idea who I was.

"You probably sat up front? A nerd or something?" He laughed.

I glared at him and shook my head at his rude comment. I walked right past him.

"Good talking to ya, neighbour." He chuckled.

A little biography on Tanner West. Obviously he's popular and good looking, but lets look past that. He's arrogant. Selfish. Rude. Treats everyone like dirt. And just a terrible person.

"What took you so long?" Troy asked.

"Maybe you should do it next time." I shot back.
