"Come on Kayla, we can't miss it" I said grabbing her hand.
"I know i know i'm coming" she said as we both ran to the top of the hill in a field full of flowers with our family right behind us.

"Hold on honey you can't sit down yet, your allergies will start if you sit in the grass." My mother said as I was about to sit down.

"Come on Simone" Kayla took my hand and we started running in the field of flowers together. It was nice and refreshing like i've never felt something like this before.

"Come and eat! You don't want your food getting cold." My dad yelled from a far "Coming dad" Me and Kayla ran to the blanket that was on the ground and enjoyed the meal are parents made for us.

"Honey should we tell them?" dad said looking at me and Kayla then her parents. 'Tell them what' I thought as I was taking sips out of the miso soup my mom packed for me.
I looked at mom with concern in my eyes as she started to open her mouth.

"So...We are moving to Korea for a job opportunity and we are planning on simone studying there for abroad." My mother said as I saw small sparkles in her dark eyes.

"What?" I said as my heart was about to be shattered. I didn't want to move I had so many friends here Kayla, ally, maia, and Ronaldo. I can't just leave like this I have many more years to come.

"When are you leaving?"  Ms. Coates said giving Kayla a napkin to wipe her face.
"In a few months so than she can say her goodbyes." My mom said with a big smile on her face.

"I don't want to mom, I have so much to learn still. I have so many friends I can't just leave them all what if I don't fit in with people in Korea?"

"Don't worry sweet heart I know you'll make so many more friends" mom said to reassure me. Kayla looked at me with sad eyes as we knew this was going to be the last time we probably spend time with each other.

"How about you and Kayla go ahead and play while me and your dad talk with Mr and Ms. Coates."

"Ok" as I took Kayla's hand we walked through the flowers thinking about the conversation we heard.

"If we really are leaving to go to Korea you will never forget me right? I mean we have been friends for so long."

"No of course not, i'll always remember you no matter how long you are gone for" Kayla said before giving me a big hug.

"Hey kids come on! we are leaving" my dad yelled from the top of the hill about to walk down.
"Coming!" As me and Kayla where heading back to the car I suddenly remember that this will be the last time I will ever see her. Tears started to fill the brim of my eyes as I said bye to Kayla.

I sat down and tears started falling down my face without me even realizing it.

As soon as we got home I ran up stairs and started thinking about what to bring to Korea even though we where leaving in months.

"Honey when your done please come done and eat diner." Mom said from down stairs. I went down stairs and ate some enchiladas.

Later that night after eating diner I went up to my room to watch some k-pop before heading to bed.

"Goodnight mom, goodnight dad!" I yelled from my door way to make sure they could hear me. I went to my bed and plugged in my head phones before falling asleep thinking of what life in Korea
will be like.
