The Styles' family was probably the churches largest contributor. They gave so much money to the church, they were what kept it up and running. At least that was what Harry overheard his mother say on the phone one time.

"Harry! Please hurry up love, we are going to be late for morning mass!"

After fixing his loose tie, Harry walks down the stairs and is greeted by his mothers warm and kind smile staring back at him.

"Will father be joining us?" Harry asks knowing the answer already. His mother stiffens at the comment.

"No, he's got called in on a work emergency early this morning." An silence fills the room, both of them knowing that that was not the case

"Well! Don't you just look especially dashing today love!" His mother says while pinching his cheeks, trying to change the subject.

"Stop mum, I'm 18 years old now" Harry grumbles.

"Oh shush, I can pinch my babies cheeks if I want! Now we must go! Church is at 10 and it's nearly 9:55!" His mother yells in a panic.

As if it would matter if they were a minute later.

As they step into the church and hear the echoes from the pastor speaking beginning the service, Harry and his mother sneak quietly into a pew in the back of church.

Its usually them sitting up in the very front, so Harry must show his attention the whole time. Now that they're in the back, Harry has time to sit and think for a bit.

He thinks about his father, his mother, and sister. He thinks about Cambridge, which is where he will attend Uni in the Fall.

Harry and his family moved to the small town of Beverley when Harry's dad got relocated here last spring.

It was a big adjustment from the bustling city of London, but they made do with it.

"Now please, open your prayer books to page 387." The pastor says.

"Harry, love get one on the other side. I haven't got any on this side." His mother ask. As Harry reaches out for the prayer book, and is met with another small hand reaching for the same book.

Harry feels a tingle run through his veins and his head shoots up to be met with a pair of beautiful blue eyes.

"I'm terribly sorry, um did you want to use this book?" It's a young man, looks about in his early 20s.

His hair is shaggy and he has huge bags under his gorgeous blue eyes.

"Well I've got no more books on my side so would you mind?" Harry responds.

"No, not at all please take it." The young man responds in a heavy british accent.

Harry hands the prayer book over to his mother and she quietly thanks him and turns to the page the pastor said.

"And the peace of the Lord always be with you." Pastor James spoke out to the congregation.

"And with you" they all respond back.

"Peace be with you my love." Harry's mother says kissing him on his forehead.

"You too mum." Harry says.

"I'm going to go ahead and talk to Jennifer over there for a short minute. I'll be right back" His mother says getting up and walking over to the other lady's pew.

Harry turns to look over at the young man and sees him with his shoulders slouched down and his face looking down at the floor.

He's dressed in a pair of beat up vans, ripped skinny jeans, and old faded sweatshirt that says 'SINCE '85' on it. For some reason Harry's become infatuated with him.

It's terrifying to Harry at the moment and he should never think of another man this way. Especially in the house of God, but Harry just can't bring himself to care.

"Peace be with you." Harry says sticking his hand out to the older looking lad. The man looks up at Harry and it's finally that Harry can get a long look at his face.

He noticed his beautiful ocean blue eyes before and they were just so intriguing and pulled Harry to him. He had little stubble growing on his chin, and had thin very chapped lips.

His jawline was perfectly constructed and was just absolutely gorgeous.

"Excuse me?" the man said staring at Harry as if he were crazy.

"You know, peace be with you as in like I hope you're life goes well and stuff" Harry says trying to find a good response.

"Oh, and what I like shake your hand or something?"

"Well yeah. You're new at this I can tell." Harry said with a little chuckle. Harry got even more intrigued that Louis was new to church and began to wonder why he just started attending now.

"That obvious?" The blue eyed boy says looking at Harry. Harry laughs again at that

"Just a tad." The man smiles up at Harry and laughs too.

"I'm Harry by the way, Harry Styles."

"Nice to meet you Harry Styles, I'm Louis Tomlinson." Louis. That name just fit him perfect, Harry thought.

"You're not from here are you?." Louis says as more of a fact than question to Harry.

"No, I grew up in London. I moved here to Beverley last spring 'cause of my dads work" Harry respond and Louis nodded his head.

"How about you?" Louis stiffens and opens his mouth to talk but closes it back up. It's only a few short seconds before either of them say anything but it feels like a lifetime to Harry. But then Louis speaks.

"Well might as well tell you. Who the hell are you going to tell that I will even give a shit if they know." Louis sighs.

"If it's any consolation, I wouldn't tell a soul. Even if I wanted to, I have no friends here to tell anyways." Harry says trying to console Louis. Louis smiles and continues.

"I grew up in Doncaster, England and I got booted out of my house by my mum when I was 15, I'm 23 now by the way, because I'm gay. My mother was deeply religious and told me she would not have an awful 'faggot' son living in her house. So I got the axe and have been basically been hitchhiking through the past 8 years of my life." Harry stares at Louis with a face of utter shock.

"So yup that's my life story summed up quickly."

"I'm so sorry that happened to you Louis, that's terrible." Harry said sympathetically.

He felt bad for this boy. No one deserves that to happen to them, even if they were committing a sin.

"Eh, not you're fault." Louis said with a small shrug.

"I know, just tell me if there's anything I can do to help you out." Harry says meaning it and hoping that Louis would ask him to do something.

"Well, considering that I have no fucking clue what's going on in Church anymore, you think you can maybe help me out? This part of England seems good and I wanna stay here for a while." Harry almost squeals with excitement.

"Of course! How about we meet up with each other at my house every Sunday after church?"

"Sounds pretty fucking great" Louis says smiling at Harry.

"Well first lesson, don't swear inside the church."

Harry says making Louis burst into laughter and Harry following making their laughs echo throughout the church.
