Where's mama? ( Niki x child reader)

Niki's POV

When I woke up I immediately got dressed for the day and went to the kitchen to make breakfast for me and y/n. I look through the fridge I saw some eggs and I'm the freezer I saw some hash browns and some bacon. I grabbed everything that I needed and started working on breakfast. I grabbed the pan turned on the oven and started cooking the eggs and bacon.

After I got done with eggs and bacon I put the hash browns on the pan and started cooking. During I was cooking I heard little footsteps coming down the stairs. I look to the direction that the sound was coming from and saw y/n " well good morning did you sleep okay" they nodded their head and walked towards the table and sat down. I get a plate of food and place it Infront of them with a fork and some juice. They happily ate the food and drank the drink, once they were done I put the dishes in the sink and toke them upstairs to pick out some clothes. I opened the door and picked out two outfits for them to wear and had them chose one. Once they choose one I gave it to them and waited outside the door.

Once they were out we were down stairs sat down and watched some TV. It was calm until they asked me a question.

Y/ns POV

We sat there watching some TV until a question popped into my head " Niki?" I asked " yes y/n?" She said turning towards me " where's mama?" She paused for a minute and turned off the TV. She turned to me " your mama is fine y/n don't worry " I looked down a little sad " but you said that someone is looking for her" I said as tears filled my eyes. She gave me a sad look and hugged me " yeah I did but it's okay your mother is going to be okay" she whispers in my ear as I cry into her shoulder. After a minute my tears have dried up and and my breathing has slowed down a bit.

We pull away and she rubs my cheek with her hand " she is going to be okay" she says before lightly kissing my forehead " now do you want it continue watching the show" she asks. I nod and nest my head on her shoulder as she wraps her arm around me and rubbing it with her thumb. She turns on the show again and this time we had a good time laughing at some of the jokes and enjoying each other's company. It has been a couple hours later and it was 12:49 " hey do you want something to eat" I nodded and got up with her.

She made us sandwiches with some fruit bunch and sat outside on the porch. We were talking and joking around while we eat. When we got done eating we went back inside and played some board games for a bit until dinner. When dinner came we had mash potatoes with green beans and Niki even let me have some pop. After that she brought me upstairs and gave me a bath. After the bath she put gave me some pajamas and I put them on and crawled into bed.

Niki came in kissed me on the forehead tired off the light and closed the door leaving me with only me my plushie that she gave me and the music that the TV in my room was playing. I slowly drifted off to sleep.
