The main brushes to be used are circled above. (Airbrush is mandatory for lightings, and lighter highlights on skin, and for the shadows.)

These shades of colours,
0.1) The blue colour palette in the first image is the most effective for all kinds of edits, whether it be dark/fantasy themed/light.
0.2) This brown, is very commonly used for natural eye color, natural brown hair, and for highlights.
0.3) The yellow is used for highlights, preferably the base highlights for many royal/fantasy edits with their base colour as red/blue.
